drive in from Syracuse on July 4th. Just being tourist. came Sackett harbor and Henderson harbor. couldn't find anywhere to eat. so decided to try cape Vincent. took wrong street found captains Jacks. best find in years. we wanted to eat near water. tables all taken but couple from Harrisburg pa.asked us to join them. they were just leaving. chatting 3o minutes later. we had already ordered but still chatting. the left. food. was great. French onion soup. clans. chicken wings. coconut fried shrimp salad and a burger. but to top off waitress recommended fried (something )can't remembe but it had ice cream. Carmel sauce and whipped creame. excellent. we were eating a couple sat with us from canada. after almost 4 hrs there. decided if possible next year going to meet couple from canada. would recommend everything at restaurant. can't say enough about it.
I highly recommend Capt. Jacks. We went this past weekend with a large table of mostly kids. The waitresses, Katie and Emma were so patient and kind. They were fantastic. It was my daughter's birthday and when the owner realized it she went down the street and bought her a birthday cake and candles. It was incredibly kind and touching. My daughter was thrilled. The food was excellent too! And you cannot beat the view on the River. Thank you!

Came on motorcycle in rain looking for some good old West Virginia hospitality loved the sandwiches and that cheesecake log dessert

REALLY GOOD!!. The food at Captain Jack's is consistantly really good!! We look forward to eating here during our weekends in Cape Vincent every year. It is always wonderful to relax by the water, and if we want to stay for a few cocktails after dinner they never rush us from our table.
Waitstaff very fiendly..low pressure. Deck had wonderful breeze...waitress very accomidating/friendly...food was all good...second time we have been really like the location...brought the whole fam this time
service was great and being able to sit outside and enjoy the water views was so good. I enjoy being able to relax and enjoy a meal. Just wish the prices were lower or get more for the money. I ordered a dozen clams but they were so small and not filling. If they were the larger clams then the price was good but the little ones I could eat three dozen.
First time ! Beautiful setting on the St. Lawrence and just as nice on the inside. The kids had the chicken fingers that I have never seen the likes of the size that they brought out! My sister couldn't even finish her salad. Great time!
This is a good local place ideally situated on the water with awesome views. It is however indeed of desperate updating, maintenance and repair. The food is good and the staff is great. Good dining or drinking experience if you can look past it's aging and worn out facade
