The past several times we have dined at Fujiyama's we chose to just do a dining room option instead of the hibachi, and it has been fantastic. The service is so good, as is the food and you get everything very quickly too I might add.
I'm temporarily stationed in Carbondale, IL for work and have been looking for a decent sushi place and I think I finally found one that's good quality and reasonably priced! I had the Springfield Roll and Butterfly Roll. I will definitely come back to try some other menu items while I'm here!
Fujiyama Japanese Cuisine in carbondale is a true delight. We went and got the hibachi. The cook was awesome!! He entertained us with the coolest tricks!! Everything was cooked perfectly. My only complaint is the quality of the meat has gone down. It's a difference of night and day between lunch and dinner. Besides that Everything was great!! 4 stars today just because of the meat quality. 🌠🌠🌠ðŸŒ
Hibachi is delicious. Tried about everything on the menu. Lunch is priced great and very fast service. Usually stop in a couple times a month for lunch and / or dinner. One of my favorite restaurants in Carbondale.
I have been eating at fujiyama for a while. I lived here for college when they were in their old location and now I'm living here again. I went there at least weekly before. Their new building is very nice. Their food is good. I wish they had more special rolls for sushi. Service is always good.
