The artesian well serves up delicious alkaline water for $1/gallon. Supremely walkable, the Village Faire area is a joy to visit!

Stopped in for breakfast at the Naked Cafe. Loved their fuzzy monkey pancakes! Shared an ocean blue latte with my daughter. I don't drink cold latte, but this was an exception. Not sure what it would have tasted hot, but cold was surprisingly delicious!

Nice area to shop or eat right next to the beach. It's a big tourist attraction so expect the whole area to be busy in season. Lots of options to choose from all within walking distance. Parking can be hard to find.

A Taste of the Himalaya's is a beautiful restaurant in the village fair on the bottom floor. You can eat inside or outside/with heaters. Inside has beautiful music and atmosphere with art and dΓ©cor from a far away land. Mystifyingly beautiful and so delicious. I give this five stars for not only the taste but the great attitude of the people working there, No one gave me any guff over my Service dog. They are Aware of service dogs and treated us very nicely. We will definitely be going back. ENJOY~*~

We stopped at Parlor Donuts. We never had a donut so amazing in our lives. It's so delicious that you just can't choose just one. It's dangerous good and the service is very pleasant too.

Nice beach strip with a lot of options. We came down here for the Carlsbad 5000 5k run and stayed at a motel. We walked down to a coffee shop and got food one day. There was plenty of places to eat and get really whatever you want. Find a nice day and a place to park and walk around. It makes for a nice day and the beach is right down the road.

Driving down the 405 to San Diego. California, it is late afternoon, and hunger overtook us. With my wife driving, I pulled out my Pixel and searched for a restaurant offering both vegan and conventional entrees. Google Map reviewers liked a place just a couple of miles ahead. It took us to the Naked Cafe at the Village Faire, an upscale shopping plaza, in Carlsbad, California. What a beautiful place to shop. I'd call it old school California: eclectic, modern, and beach like. The plaza contains many specialty shops. At three o'clock, it's not crowded. Parking is free and easy. Electric charging stations are available. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained. Everyone we met was West coast warm and friendly. The Naked Cafe's patio is in a garden setting, under trees. Everything is wheelchair accessible. The bathroom we used was inside the restaurant.
