Delicious and very fresh sushi! They have regular rolls, specialty rolls, sashimi (pictured), and nigiri (sashimi over rice). They also have a good selection of sake. Their hot sake heater was broken when we went, so they offered a nicer bottle at a deal.
I love an Asian noodle especially ramen soup. Mostly they are a little too salty and not an authentic in San Diego but this place got a real taste where I found in town. Try salmon nigiri(salmon on rice)!! fantastic.. I am so sensitive to fish nigiri. They are satisfied me 100%!
It was my girlfriend's 21st birthday and we had an amazing time. The wait staff helped us pick a good selection of food and sake and provided us a bottle of really good sparkling sake and dessert. Thwy had amazing karage and the best, most tender and flavorful kalimari I have ever had. This was amazing.
Have been here twice now for happy hour and meal. This place has terrific food with huge portions and at great prices. The pork belly, potato shrimp and jalapeno appetizers are a steal at Happy Hour, and the chicken Yakisoba is delicious (fed both of my growing children in one bowl). Both times the owner came out to ask about our meal -- what wonderful service!
Stopped by Nozomi in Carlsbad yesterday on my way home with some coworkers. Grabbed a spot at the sushi bar. The sushi was amazing (see pic). All the fish was fresh. My favorites were the Hawaiian big eye toro and the albacore. The sushi chefs and servers were very friendly. I'll definitely be back!
New Japanese Tapas and Noodle restaurant in the building that was formerly Nozomi. Our first trip there was for lunch and their specials do not disappoint. The Jessica Albacore roll was fantastic! My husband ordered the SPAM and Kimchi rice/noodle bowl. I'm not a fan of SPAM so I was hesitant to try. It was SO, SO GOOD. One of the best bowls I have ever had. We will definitely be back to try more items and their dinner menu. Highly recommend this place!
