We went tonight for our first visit. We had exceptional service by Kyle. The food was full of flavor and plated with thought. Would highly recommend. What a hidden gem!
Excellent food and wine, great service, beautiful ambiance except for the TVs! If I wanted a sports bar I’d go to a sports bar!
So far we have dined twice. Both times the food was top notch, probably one of the best in area. Service was spot on. Chef came out to get feedback. Suggestions: advertise and make place look a little more open. Location is not that great so word of mouth and phenomenal food will get you back. I would not call family dining but more fine dining. Try it out
Another great experience here celebrating a kids birthday; enjoyed the crab cake (new recipe is awesome), sliders and asparagus); enjoy picky guests enjoyed their meal; appreciate the chef’s ability to accommodate a no-salt diet for one in our party; server was prompt and excellent; looking forward to dinner here again.
After eating here, we're not sure why this restaurant isn't busier. We'd read about it a while ago. We finally made it in. We're very glad that we did. The restaurant is not an easy one to find, or get into. For its location, the access is not convenient, which is probably the reason that it wasn't as busy as it should be. It's worth the effort. It is surprisingly well adorned on the inside for its relatively non descript location on the inside of a retail strip center.
They happened to be participating in a restaurant week promotion while we were there. We started with a caprese salad and a grilled octopus salad. The caprese was the best presentation of a caprese that we've seen, and it was really good. The octopus was the best grilled octopus that I've had.
Our entrees were a chicken roulade and a Korean short rib pasta. The roulade was vey tasty, not unlike an upscale thanksgiving dinner in the coolest package ever, without all of the family drama that comes with a family event. I didn't fully read the description of the short rib dish, so it was a great surprise when it arrived. It was a fusion pasta dish. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the short rib was so flavorful that I had fight my wife for it.
The chef is from the south, so there is a little bit of a southern flair to the menu. Our server, Kyle, said that he worked in a good seafood restaurant in the area. It shows. He knows his way around seafood.
Kyle was great, answering our questions and making wonderful suggestions. He also gave us the background on the restaurant that I've rambled about.
If this restaurant were in a better location, I'm not sure that you could get in. Where it is, it's almost as much of a challenge to find its entrance. It is more than worth the effort, through.
Enjoy.
Great food again! Couldn't find hours posted online from basic search and forgot to ask, but wondering if they're open for lunch. I really like the atmosphere of this place.
Everything was wonderful! Loved wine list our waitress couldnt have been better.
New favorite a must experience for yourself!
What a great local find near 146th and River Road in Eastside Carmel. They have an extensive wine collection, delicious food and great atmosphere! Nice place for date night or for dinner with friends.
Good wine, good service. Didn't try the food. Only downside was that it was empty around dinner time on a Friday. Hoping business picks up.
Came here to just relax and drink wine. The bartender was super friendly and the prices are great! Def recommend and will be coming back!
