Best staff, best food, no doubt! Amazing variety of meats and sides. Big enough for parties, or gatherings.
My family and I love Rio Grill; it's one of our favorite restaurants. We finally introduced this restaurant to my husband and he loves Rio Grill, too. They have a great food and great service. Thank you.
Great Place Great Staff Great Food and Happy Hours
One of the best place to eat.
Delicious...thanks Chef Cy!
I was post overseas flight and had traveled 21 hours. Hungry. I asked for 1 item to be served on the side but the kitchen made a mistake and they made a new order. Food was good. Server was super nice.
It was not great but it was good.
Had good drinks and appetizers here for a group of four after hiking in Pt Lobos. Drinks: Watermelon Smash, IPA, Poppy Chardonnay, Venus Flytrap. Appetizers: Artichoke, Ahi tuna wonton chips, butternut squash gnocchi.
Omg so tasty!! Had a soy-marinated steak and the meat was very tender! Highly recommend potato-skin as an appetizer , sooooo delicious.
Excellent service, from our waitress Alana to the hostess to the bar tender who came out to chat. The ahi salad lunch special was amazing - perfect sesame dressing, lovely fresh ahi, but what's this? Grilled watermelon? Yes, oh yes! Topped with crispy wontons on a bed of luscious greens with perfectly ripe avocado. Yum!
Been going here for 20 years or more. And it’s consistently great. We always get the grilled artichoke and it’s always so delicious. The balsamic reduction and the dipping sauce is addicting. We love sitting in the bar and the drinks are good and strong. The staff are all super friendly and efficient.
The roasted artichoke is quite possibly one of the most delicious things I've ever eaten. It is a seasonal item and the server said you can call ahead to see if they have it. Tuna app was very good. Service was great and they had a nice local wine and beer selection.
Nice breakfast experience for my mom’s birthday. I ordered the scramble and it was a nice light meal. The frittata looked wonderful as well and was very flavorful. Can skip the lemon pancakes since the topping wasn’t super lemony though. Other than that great service and food.
Dinner was wonderful. Staff are the best.
I was welcomed by a warm and very friendly hostess (Ishtar), had great conversation with the bartender (Shon), and the manager (Nathaniel) was on top of making sure things were perfect and was full of suggestions. I ordered all the staff favorites and they were spot on. Absolutely delicious. I will be back for more warm atmosphere, great drinks and food. I’ll make sure to save room for dessert next time.
Outstanding service, possibly the nicest staff I have ever encountered, and very genuine too. Best kids meal ever for the toddler, and there were several great options which were not the typical breaded chicken, fries or grilled cheese. Several vegetarian options which were interesting and tasty. Good for a variety of tastes. We were given hot towels at the end of the meal, very spa-like.
Came in for dinner and it did not disappoint. We usually stop here whenever we visit this area. The Hawaiian swordfish special was delicious! Our server was friendly and attentive.
I needed a light lunch so settled on their beet salad. I wanted their salmon but since it was farmed took chicken instead. Salad very good. Iced tea better than some other places. Dessert ok.
This place is clean and nicely designed.
We came here for lunch and were happy with the food and service. I ordered the hamburger and it was cooked according to the my request for medium rare; the side salad was fresh. My friend ordered the chicken salad and that was good as well. Their menu has a good list of choices that should work for small or large group.
This restaurant was located in a cute little shopping center that was recommended to me by a family member. And, boy, was it a good recommendation! The host was sweet as punch and waiter was kind as all-get-out! The food there came out quick but we can tell the food was made to order. With the nice presentation of the plate, the food was VERY good!! It was a bit pricy, but I think it is worth it with the quality and the ammount of food given. Definitely worth a date night trip!
Delicious meal, great happy hour deals, polite friendly staff. Been going since they first opened and never disappointed!
Service was excellent food was tasty too. Chips were crispy. Everything we ordered was great!
The service is good and workers are friendly. I usually order the steak and eggs plate because it's delicious. I didn't see much of a breakfast menu on my recent visit, but the food is good regardless.
In culinary art it's difficult to combine rich complexity with subtlety. Rio Grill's chef is to be commended for achieving it. We had mushroom tamale and fire-roasted artichoke for starters, and the avocado fettuccine and smoked half chicken for main. Except for a somewhat overdone smoked beef tenderloin that graced the fettuccine, everything else was exceptional. Special call-out for the incredibly flavorful mushroom tamale sauce that was also "quiet" enough so you can taste the mushrooms, and the (chili butter) sauce for the smoked chicken - OMG it was so good we ordered the house bread (amazing maple syrup butter) to soak it all up. Dessert was caramel-apple bread pudding w vanilla ice cream & mocha flan. Can I add another star? The hot bread pudding had a bit of lemon, combined with ice cream... the best we've ever had. Mocha flan: don't spare the caramel sauce - a dark chocolate that really resonated with a subtle caramel sauce. Service was knowledgeable, friendly & attentive. Sorry... all the photos (except the desserts... we finally stopped ourselves) were of half-eaten food bc they were so good we couldn't stop.
