We loved our experience at Enzo! Our server gave us great recommendations on wine and food - if you are sensitive you might not like their delivery but it is very much the Italian way to tell you what is best. They know what is best based on your dietary needs - we took their advice and all was amazing. The reviews that are salty about the menu saying “the customer is not always right” are lacking a sense of humour 😂 If you’ve been to Italy you know, the restaurant owners love to tell you what is best and how to eat or drink well. We loved our experience and can’t wait to go back

A very nice Italian eatery with a decent selection of local and Italian wines. The food is very well executed for what it is. A truly enjoyable, but slightly expensive lunch. Cool vespa art in the bathroom.

Food was good, service was decent, ambiance was cute and cozy just like any small Italian restaurant. We had Crab ravioli which was good flavor of crabs and Pesto Gnocchi which was good.

Great, authentic Italian! I ordered takeout, and the service was kind and quick. The pesto gnocchi and chocolate cake were amazing. Highly recommend!

We passed on the carbonara because they didn't use guanciale, and had the bolognese instead. Good call. It was very good, perfectly paired with their delicious chianti. The veal could be a little bit more tender. Some may feel there's too much lemon, but I like me some citrus flavors. The orange-flavored sponge cake was not too sweet, and goes perfect with a double shot of espresso. The place was clean and cozy, service was fast and very friendly.

Great location! Dog friendly. Made reservations to sit outside on the patio and were seated promptly when we arrived. We split an order of calamari to start which was really tasty. I had the rigatoni calabria which was delicious! My mom also enjoyed her salmon. For dessert, our first choice was sold out (the torta al cioccolato). Instead, we tried some gelato and tiramisu which was the perfect way to wrap up our meal. Will definitely be back next time I’m in town.

Very nice restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea. They have a very nice (and small) outdoor terrace in the back: if the weather is good, ask to be seated outside. The food is very yummy and close to home-made but the portions are not very big. If you order a starter and a main, you won't leave the place hungry though. The pizza is okay, but I don't think it's the highlight of Enzo. If you really want to eat a great firewood Neapolitan pizza then choose another Italian restaurant with a firewood oven in the area. Overall a very good experience and I'll come back if visiting the area again.

Pretty good Italian food and nice ambiance. Looked like they had a very nice outdoor patio but it was too cold. Service was good but our waiter had a funny personality, especially with the wine, and seemed to push us towards more pricey options then no longer cared once it was clear we only wanted a glass each.

After returning from a month long trip touring the South to the North of Italy I was yearning for authentic Italian food, coffee and wine. Enzo Ristorante did not disappoint. For antipasto we had Aged Parma Ham and Parmigiana Reggiano, Meraviglioso!! Brisket Tortelloni with Truffles and Rigatoni with a wonderful Ragu Calabria for our first accompanied with a fabulous wine our flavor pallets just exploded. For our main, we followed their recommendation and enjoyed an amazing Super Tuscan wine with Branzino Silano. An absolute treasure of an experience that Enzo and his wonderful team provided. I can’t wait until I return. Enjoy!!

Food was good but over priced. The two of us had no appetizers and one glass of house wine and we’re charged $121.00 (tip of course was in addition) but the insult was charging 3% for using a credit card. That was pretty cheesy.

If you get the chance for chat at the bar with Enzo himself, do it. We’ve been back 5 times in two months and we recommend the joint to everyone we know. Good vibes, good vinos, amazing pasta.

This is really good Italian restaurant I ever been. The food was perfect! Not only food, the restaurant mood was really good for dating people. So I highly recommend this place for dating dinner place. Moreover, severs was super nice and service was perfect I can tell. Only one thing I was sad about part was that there was no tiramisu at that moment which is my favorite and waiter recommended to me. If I have chance to be there, I will definitely try tiramisu! (P.S pistachio cake was also delicious!)

A small but delicious Italian restaurant in downtown Carmel. I have been to Italy many times and I’m half Italian myself and can honestly say this reminded me of being back there. The flavors were very authentic and everything we had was a healthy sized portion. Our service was awesome and all the four employees we encountered were extremely jovial and prompt and made experience better. I started off with the Caprese Salad and enjoyed it as expected, the Burrata with it was a huge portion which was a wonderful surprise. For my entrée I chose the Spaghetti Carbonara and it was delicious as expected. None of the dishes lasted very long because each one we ordered was a hit for the table. Overall a wonderful Italian meal. A bit expensive, but guessing the location factors into that. I would recommend to anyone looking for a casual Italian meal.

We had a wonderful experience at Enzo’s. The service was on point. The wine was great, and the burrata/prosciutto pizza was phenomenal. Our entrees were equally as fantastic with the pesto gnocchi and the rigatoni. This was our first time visiting Carmel, but we will definitely come back to Enzo’s the next time we’re in town.
