Went with my family and my two brothers. It was a big gathering. We stayed at our mom's for Easter. We had a blast. It's nice and not over crowded. I will say the time of the year we went It was a little chilly in the water but I still got in.
Awesome beach. The pier is very cool to visit and have a drink. You can get a ticket to drive out in brace. But get there early and have 4 wheel drive. The park has rides abs plenty of places for ice cream and gifts
Awesome place plentiful with restaurants and rides! Package deals on the rides are a great value. Gift shops o plenty and everybody seems to get along. They had fireworks the night we were there which were awesome!!!!
Great experience! It was pretty crowded, but not uncomfortable. We loved the live band, the carnival, the shops and the fireworks (on Thursday night). Be prepared to pay for parking. It's $25, but is good for several hours, so it's worth it to go early and plan to spend some time there. Carnival tickets are $2.50 each (18 for $40 or 25 for $60). Most rides are 2-3 tickets each. Ferris Wheel is only open on Saturday.
I haven’t been here in years and it’s definitely not what I remember. The parking situation is now horrible and very expensive. There are some yummy restaurants and cute gift shops etc. We were disappointed with the arcade as it only has claw/prize machines and games for little kids. All in all, it’s a beautiful beach with a few fun things to do.
This is a great place to visit! We loved sitting on the rocks at night having a cocktail! It was never crowded when we visited.
The boardwalk is so nice, and I am so happy with what they have done with it! The shops and restaurants were largely closed in October, but that was ok. The boardwalk itself is so cool, with swing and bench seating options and multiple spots for beach access. The newest, most exciting feature is the handicap accessible area, which is a raised, covered portion of the boardwalk that allows for great ocean views for anyone who might not be able to make it onto the sand. Excellent idea that I wish more beaches would consider!
