Wow. Wasn’t necessarily expecting the type of menu they had but was glad it was what they served. Incredible flavors. I’m not a chicken type guy but do yourself a favor (or flavor) and get the Bama chicken. Everything about this place is incredible. The Sin dip and the beignets started and finished off our family meal quite nicely.
Very friendly service, and the food was excellent. Creative menu and food done with care. Had to be rolled out the door after desert. I've never been to a place where each item was worth the trip back down to the potato salad.
Service was amazing: the manager checked on us several times and our waiter, Brandon, was friendly and very attentive even though it was a busy Friday night. Food was all very good, drinks were great, and ... oh my gosh...the desserts!! Highly recommend BDD!

Took my wife here for her birthday dinner and we both thought it was amazing! So much good flavor it should be illegal. It's one of those places where you love your meal but you look around at what other folks are eating and say " oooh that looks good. I'll have to try that the next time I'm here!" The service we received was excellent. We will not wait for a special occasion to return here. I would recommend calling ahead to see how busy they are as this place won't remain a secret for very long.

My Mother & I had lunch today and it was delicious! We had the fried green tomato appetizer (which would be an amazing entree all by itself) and we shared the Southern Charm Hamburger. They have so many tempting dishes on the menu - we'll certainly go back!

Great locarion and atmosphere. It's good to see Carrollton reinventing the square. The Brown Dog is a good example of that as it is housed in the old Carroll Mills building, along with other new businesses. Very inventive menu and well prepared food. The duck fries poutine was very good. I'll certainly go back again.
We stopped here while in the area on a Thursday at 5. We were seated immediately but it wasn’t busy. Our servers were efficient and friendly. The draft beer selection was modest but covered most types of beers. We got the pale ale and it was cold and delicious. $6.50/pint. We got the Three pigs wrap and the short rib grilled cheese with Mexican corn and collards (spicy good!). The food was excellent. The flavors meshed nicely and was seasoned well. The portions were generous for the price.
We will eat here again!

OMG, the food was fantastic. If shrimp and grits is on the menu, that is what I will order. This dish was heavenly, the grits were smooth and flavorful and the shrimp was perfection. Poutine, a popular Canadian dish, was a surprise to see so I also ordered it. I was not disappointed. The only downside is the restaurant is 90 miles from home. If I find myself in Carrollton again I am definitely eating here.
This place is absolutely amazing! The food is delicious, they have a wide variety of mixed drinks, draft beer and bottle beer and no complaints about the service. The mixed drinks are a bit pricy but the food is reasonably priced.
Great food. Their draft beer selection always has a great variety of local and current beers. The cocktails are intuitive and great tasting. Their daily food specials are always great. Best place to eat on the square in Carrollton. Highly recommended.
Unfortunately I only took a photo of my wrap but it was delicious. Everything was great. Molley was our server and she was awesome.
The restaurant seems to be in a beautiful historic building, and gives it an infinite amount of charm. When I asked what a southern side dish I had never had was, they came back with a small sample for me without me asking or even having the idea. The grits were truly wonderful, and is something I should try again sometime soon. All the food was stunning, and my dad said he had one of the best sandwiches he had ever had.
