Best ponderosa around even before alliance closed up. Food is always fresh and staff is always nice and keep up on drinks. Nice atmosphere as well and well priced. Weekly haunt.
Food and service was amazing! I told them I have issue with gluten and they cooked me a non-marinated steak on a clean grill!

Salad bar is super. Everything was fresh and delicious. I had the salmon dinner, my wife the grilled shrimp, was very good. Desserts outstanding. Staff were all very friendly. We will be going back. P.s. the restaurant is very clean.
The restaurant was clean and the buffet was nicely organized and well displayed. The staff was very friendly and the waitress stopped by every few minutes to check of everything was ok and if we needed anything. The food was good but not exceptional. The price was a little steep for the offering. One of my party was an older woman who had a half a plate of salad, and a small dinner plate of food and a piece of cake, her price was the same as mine..$12.95. They need to consider having a senior price for those who eat much smaller portions. Overall a very good experience.
The Ponderosa is always about the same. The food looks nice, it is hot and quite good. The meatloaf was very good and my son said the chicken was also good. Today was a holiday and we got there just in time because when we left, people were lined up out the door. We did notice that there was only one other restaurant open just outside of town called "The Heartland" and it was also very busy and their food
is always good too.
