Always great! Never had anything from here that wasn't delicious. Got brisket tonight he told me I would really like it because he tried something different. He wasn't lying! It was so good! In my opinion the best bbq in the area no doubt! Love this place!
Best brisket in East Texas, hands down. Absolutely contends with the big boys in the hill country. Chuck is a fantastic dude and the staff is awesome. Get there early.

Found this while out exploring near Lake Murval. A pleasant surprise! Notice the signs on front...lol. Lots of memorabilia- mostly sports. Cute little corner sink in ladies room.
We had sliced beef sandwiches- delicious! I liked their bbq sauce, too. Not as impressed with mac and cheese and potatoe salad- seemed pre-fab. Sandwich came with onion, jalapeno pepper slices, and pickle slices.
Overall, I liked the place, and would stop in again if in the area. It had a good atmosphere.
This is better than 90% of the BBQ you'll find in East Texas. Every bit of flavor was there. Great smoke and a brilliant peppery bark on the ribs and brisket. There were a couple of negatives (slightly under cooked and a little chewy), but I promise the good definitely outweighs the bad. Don't pass up a chance to try this BBQ!
Great place. I enjoyed my meal. Today was my first time. I came from Alabama. I was not disappointed with the food at all. I was disappointed that I couldn't get more ribs. They were almost sold out and I got there 45min after they opened. I will return for another try.

Food is excellent, place is neat and clean. Just a real "down home" feeling. I came for a take-home order........ and a first time customer too. I had seen them advertised on tv,. They have a great barbecue taste going on. !!!! Some of the side order items are different than I personally like....... but. My mother and my wife just can't cook for everyone !!! Have NEVER liked BOUDAN !!!! The nice lady cut me a sample of theirs....,WOW...... Never tasted anything like this before 😋😋😋. Give them a try,..,.....,.,
