This is one of the best and most authentic Sichuanese restaurants in the area. Many of my Chinese coworkers used to love this place. The food is affordable, delicious, and filling. The staff is courteous, and service is prompt. One suggestion is to balance your meal with something acidic/sour/pickle-like because many entrees can be oily and fatty (while absolutely delicious). The braised sizzling duck is terrific and tender! I love getting takeouts from this place, but consider visiting in person, because some of the food being served fresh from the kitchen can do wonders!
If you want authentic Sichuan Chinese food, this place is great and the serving portions are huge. My kids loved the sesame chicken and dumplings. My husband (despite being able to handle spicy food) said it was overwhelming with a specific seasoning that he did not enjoy and wasn't able to finish it. We loved everything else and were grateful for leftovers that fed us for several days!
This is THE best Chinese food in the Triangle. Forget your idea of American Chinese takeout places. The menu here is pretty authentic (and this is coming from a friend who has traveled extensively in China) and the food is amazing. If you dine-in, everything is served family style and it really adds to the experience. It is made in the Szechuan style, so expect some heat (hey, and some folks like that!). I totally recommend the hotpot items. They are served "dry", not in a broth, and are so well seasoned!
This place is one of my favorite Chinese restaurant so far. Their food was amazing and it was so delicious! I highly recommend dine in rather than delivery. Service was very nice and food came out really quickly. I highly recommend to try their hunan beef! It is spicy and so delicious!
This is our new favorite restaurant for authentic Chinese cuisine! We have spent a fair amount of time in China and were introduced to Chengdu 7 by friends who lived in Chengdu to 15+ years. Super delicious food that makes me so happy.
Some of the amazing dishes we've tried here are the twice cooked pork 回锅肉, mapo tofu 麻婆豆腐, fried green beans干煸四季豆, cumin beef 孜然牛肉 and the cumin lamb, Yu-xiang eggplant 鱼香茄子, Chengdu style wontons 老妈抄手, braised beef noodles 红烧牛肉面 (classic noodle soup with a marvelous broth), and Kungpao chicken 宫保鸡丁. If you've experienced the American version of some of these dishes you're in for a treat! Please don't sleep on these dishes. The Chongqing Spicy Chicken changed my life, can't live without Dan Dan Noodles, chili dumplings are a fave. We like food with lots of flavor and spice, so if that's you too there are so many great dishes here. We try a new dish every we go.
You can order takeout, delivery from the various delivery apps, OR you can eat in. The staff are super warm and friendly. If I could give this restaurant more than 5 stars I would!
April 2022 they renovated the restrooms! Now there are more stalls in the women's room and overall it looks fantastic.
This place recently started doing dry hotpot and you get to select what you want to put in which is great. Be careful what you put in because the price can go up very quickly. Although it wasn't completely dry, it still tasted pretty good. The service is good.
Decent Chinese food place. We placed an order for pickup and it was kind of a hassle getting the order from the restaurant, but once we got it home everything was pretty tasty. One thing I wish they indicated on their menu which dishes come with white rice already because we weren’t sure so we ordered a side of white rice and ended up with way too much rice.
U can find some real Chinese Sichuan cuisine here,Which is really delicious spicy,Just forget about the dining area experience,The owner are really friendly even they don’t really speak English,I can speak Chinese though.
