Oh, what an absolute treat it was to discover this Mexican gem! From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, we knew we were in for something truly special. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with vibrant colors and traditional Mexican decor that transported us to a different world.
To kick off our dining experience, we decided to indulge in their sampler appetizer, and boy, were we blown away! The platter was a work of art, featuring an exquisite assortment of mouthwatering delights. We were treated to crispy taquitos filled with tender shredded beef, flavorful mini quesadillas bursting with gooey cheese, and a heavenly guacamole that was the epitome of freshness. Each bite was a flavor explosion that left us craving for more.
For our main course, we couldn't resist ordering the al pastor plate, and we were not disappointed. The marinated pork was perfectly cooked and infused with authentic Mexican spices. The meat was succulent and tender, with a delightful char that added a smoky touch. Accompanied by warm tortillas, fresh cilantro, diced onions, and a side of tangy salsa, every bite was an absolute delight
First visit. Tasty, great drink specials. Albóndigas soup was yummy and flavorful. Crunchy taco was fresh. The meat was very well seasoned. The only real opportunity to improve might be the salsa they serve with their chips, it could have been better. We'll be back!
First time here. Service was slow and it wasnt busy. Food was good. Chips and salsa were good. I ended up getting enchiladas. They were good. Will come back again and i hope this time the service is better
Found with a Google search I was certain I would enjoy eating here. The food was great. My only comment could be that the service could be more responsive and the basket of chips could have more volume. But I definitely plan to visit again either on this trip of my next to PS.
Good food. The staff were all very friendly and the service was great! It's a little too loud for comfortable conversation.
Let me tell you all! The food was bomba 💣, in other words very delicious! Our waitress Alexia was great as well! My beautiful lady enjoyed everything on this visit being her birthday 🎂 made it better! She enjoyed a mangonada alcoholic drink 🍷 and I an Long Island 🏝️ ice tea alcoholic drink with chamoy and Tajín on the rim! My shrimp 🍤 cocktail was exceptional! My beautiful lady order enchiladas de pollo she said they were delicious 😋! Overall a great experience ! We will be going back!
First time having breakfast there. I usually go for dinner. I was pleasantly surprised as the breakfast was great.

Great little Mexican Food Spot. Great prices, great food and great drinks. I got the chicken taco salad with the grilled chicken and the chicken was very flavorful and the shell was really fresh. My fiance got the enchilada plate with carne asada and the meat was very flavorful. The beer drink I got was good, I liked that it didn't have Clamato in it. Overall a very good experience and great food and fast service.
MOLCAJETE changed our (couple) lives. Absolutely astonishing from the service to the chef George. Amazing. Shout out to the man in the back. I asked who made the dish so I could thank him. Again. George Gracias and everyone there who made the experience unique.
We dined at the Cathedral City restaurant about a month ago and I forgot to post a review, so I'm doing it now:
Claudia was our main server and she took great care to make sure all of our questions, preferences and little add-ones like butter for flour tortillas, etc,, were brought to the table with the rest of our meals. She checked on us regularly, not to the point of annoyance, but you didn't have to stand on your head to get her attention! Pleasant, efficient and added to the experience.
When I told her it was probably the best Chili Rellanos I've had in 10 years -- maybe ever! In fact, we had such a great dining experience we returned 3 times during the week we were there! lol Loved the food and we will go back again as soon as we get to town! Thank you Claudia and all the other servers and cooks -- what a class act! We'll tell our friends for sure!
Pretty chill not packed at all. I came for the drinks and forgot to post my 1st one but here are the other 2. Pretty chill environment, ill be coming back for dahh drinkss. Food good too. They have aquas frescas of pineapple (fresh fruit) horchata and tamarindo.
You do want to go here. Grilled chicken salad AWESOME AND HUGE! Their salsa for the chips is incredible and unique. Great people and VERY CLEAN and totally Mexican! GO THERE NOW!!! 😃
I have eaten at both locations Cathedral City and Desert Hot Springs. Family-owned good Mexican food at great prices. Full bar service with good Margaritas. Happy hour all day on Tues. and Wed. Good place for families and kids.
Nice staff. Very noisy but good food. The service was very slow but that could have also been the time we ate.
Had breakfast and it was delicious!! Great customer service great prices and what I love the most was the hrs. Can come for breakfast as early as 7:30 am😁
