Passing thru the area and found this gem. Hand-made thick taiwanese noodles in a light and tasty beef stock (beef soup), the absolutely most delicious shanghai juicy (soup) buns I've ever had, and a plate of perfectly wok-fried chinese spinach!
Had a chance to chat with the owner and chef, Mr. Chan was a team member of a successful restaurant in Flushing NY but a little over a year ago decided upon the advice of his friend to have a fresh start of his own establishment in the Atlanta GA area. We wish him the best, the food is worth the trip for sure!
It was great. We walked in and a super nice elderly lady greeted us and took our drink order. She treated us like we had been there regularly for 5 years. The food highlighters were the shanghai juicy buns, the pan fried pork buns, and the big pork bun was almost as big as my hand. 10/10
Called Golden BBQ on the sign. Would highly recommend. Easily the best soup dumplings in Atlanta.
Their small dishes are very good. Home made bun. This place worth a try.
Love the xiao long bao and the yu tiao. Green onion cake was good too! Looking forward to roaming the rest of their menu soon.
H13 stir-fried pork w fish noodles is a must try. The service is very good too.
This place is excellent. I regularly eat and make Chinese food, and this is by far the best that I have ever had. We got the chicken and broccoli and garlic chicken. Both were fantastic. The rest of the menu looks great, but unfortunately, one can only eat so much.
They also went well out of their way to please our grumpy toddler.
I simply cannot recommend this place enough. We will be frequent visitors, despite the distance from our house.
