Out of all the restaurants I have been on Urbana Champaign Savoy area, this is my best. Great food! We tried Crab Rangoon, Papaya Salad, Duck, and other food. All of those were really great!

Popped over for some pad woon sen. Nothing special. Food was all a little overcooked. That really hurts a noodle dish with noodles as delicate as pad woon sen. Portions were fine, menu was broad. They have lunch specials but pad woon sen wasn't on it. Interior was fun. Service was fine. Other customers seemed to be enjoying their meals. Wonder if lunchtime on Tuesday just isn't the best time to stop by.

The restaurant is so cozy and comfortable. The service is excellent, and everyone is so friendly and kind. The food is fresh and tastes amazing - I especially love the Ramen Noodle Stir-fry. I will definitely be back!!

Very lucky find on our way home to Virginia. Have enjoyed Thai food for years with wonderful relationships with family owners. Thara provided the finest Thai experience at a most reasonable price. The takeout business we observed while dining there is a testament to it's community support. Portions excellent, seasoning sensational and staff service and preparation an absolute FIND. Thank you Thara Thai!

The shrimp pad thai was bomb! Succulent fresh shrimp cooked to perfection and rice noodles cooked in a delicious sweet sour spicey sauce. You get what you pay for and in my opinion I like good food.

Loved the food here and the service was great too. I got a spicy curry dish while my wife got a curry udon. Both were very tasty!

Will add photos when I go back, cuz trust...this will be a weekly spot for me from now on! The portions are absolutely MASSIVE, everything is FRESH, and the prices are ABSOLUTELY spot on for the two reasons listed prior in this sentence. Best Chicken Pad Thai of my life (#58), best Thai tea of my life, and warm welcoming environment with exceptionally friendly/down to earth staff.

This is a very busy restaurant and I can see why I - the food is a good and reasonably priced. It was quite busy. We waited 15 to 20 minutes on a Saturday evening, so peak dining times. Understaffed. It was not clear with the protocol was. We were waiting to be seated along with people waiting for their to-go orders in a small space. Restaurant staff did not ask if we were there to be seated or to pick up an order. We just waited, and eventually, when they were able to tend to us, they asked our intentions and then gave us a seat. The place was recently queen. Bathrooms are clean and secure. I don't remember the name of my dish. It was a noodle dish and a little hotter than I had requested as I had requested mild. Yellow curry and tom yum soup were delicious. It was quite congested. Once we were able to be seated, they quickly took our orders and brought out the food.

A nice Asian restaurant with a wide variety of food types. I was in the mood for Thai food so I had the yellow curry and Tom kha kai soup. I enjoyed it. The waiter was very attentive in keeping my water full. I enjoyed my visit and will repeat.

So far my favorite Thai place in champaign. It is expensive, though, with most entrees $18-$25 at dinner. The Massamun Curry I had was absolutely delicious; perfect peanut/coconut balance and with the "mild" spice I requested it was just right. I'm still craving it the next day. The Crab Rangoon was good but not great; there were pieces of green vegetable in it that I couldn't quite identify, maybe minced broccoli stems? Didn't need to be there, but other than that it was good. Service was very prompt and courteous. I am looking forward to going back to try other dishes, but I might stick to lunch, since the prices are a lot cheaper then.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at a Thai restaurant that left a mixed impression on my taste buds and wallet. While the food was undeniably delicious, I couldn't help but feel that the prices were on the higher side, especially considering the additional costs for basic items like a fountain drink, which came to a staggering $6. The standout dish that stole the show was the duck curry. Its fiery spiciness and perfectly balanced coconut flavor were a true delight. The tender duck paired with the aromatic curry sauce created a harmonious explosion of flavors that I thoroughly enjoyed. On the other hand, the pad sew, a dish I typically prefer to be hot and spicy, fell short of my expectations. While it had a pleasant taste, it lacked the heat I usually look for. I must admit, other Thai places on campus offer spicier pad sew options that I personally prefer. Although the food was enjoyable, the overall dining experience was dampened by the perceived expense. The high cost of a simple fountain drink caught me off guard and added to the feeling of being overcharged. In summary, this Thai restaurant offers tantalizing flavors, particularly in their duck curry. However, the prices, including the surprisingly steep charge for a fountain drink, left a less favorable impression. While I found the food to be good, I believe there are more reasonably priced options available elsewhere on campus.

Really flavorful Thai food. Don’t miss the green curry - it was among the best I’ve ever had. Menu has extensive vegetarian options. Service is really friendly and prompt. All is all a great place for a nice Thai meal.

Great Thai food as usual. I wish they could open regularly and make dine in always available for us. I feel like the price also goes up quite a bit.

That’s Thai is one of our favorites! You get so much food that it’s easy to make two or three meals with the left overs. We are spicy hot food people and they are always careful to season it the way we like it. Friendly staff and very fast service.
