We were in the Champions Gate Florida area on business travel with Your Home Sold Guaranteed Realty Sales and stopped by Tijuana Flats for lunch. They had an awesome promotion going on which included 2 entrees, 2 drinks, and an appetizer for $20. The food was delicious! We got a bean bowl with a lot of hot sauces, a chicken and rice burrito, and queso blanco. The service was just a little slow, but the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely be stopping by here again when we have our next meeting in the area. Highly recommend!

Update: Manager responded to us & we went back. The service as always was great up front and the food this time was amazing. We appreciate their understanding & willingness to correct it. Location was clean and we had a good time. TY We have been to the Tijuana Flats at Windermere & it always great. We tried this one because it was on my husbands way home from work to bring dinner. Disappointed my chimichanga was super soggy, not flash fried at all, no sauce inside just the carnita & a soggy tortilla. I had to put it in my air fryer to try to make it less soggy & it really didn’t help well. My sons Smokin Chipotle chicken Burrito barely had any chicken it was all rice and beans & jalapeños with no sauce. It is a bit frustrating to pay so much for food not done the right way. They treated my husband well up front but whom ever made the food is not following quality.

We have visited this location before and had a great experience. Food was done quick and fresh and hot. People were so nice and though it is not a very large dining area, we had no problem with seating. Two for two and will be back. Good food and prices are perfect for the amount of food you get. Don't pass up on this restaurant.

Food was great, everything tasted fresh. The cashier was fantastic. She was honest and very helpful. The only thing we didn’t enjoy was the fact that the delivery wasn’t put away so we walked into a wall of boxes with beer that needed to be put away. I will go back.

A wonderful "Tex-Mex" establishment with a multitude of food options. Efficient service, outside seating, and an assortment of hot sauces at your disposal. Table and restaurant cleanliness met the expectations. The waitresses were attentive and tended to our needs in an appropriate manner. All of the food served was very palatable with little to no errors in what I ordered. The interior design, however, does need improvement as it can be a tad "cramp" at times. Overall, a fantastic food establishment with good food and affordable prices.

Not a bad stop for quick tacos. The ground beef was super salty however. The servers never came out to our table to offer refill to drinks. Wasn’t until the Manager came out to check on us where he offered. I left a tip when paying up front but will consider less next time.

Great fun place to go and hang with friends. Been at different location and I feel that the food is lacking the flavor it use to have. If it wasn't because I been to other locations and had there food I would of given it 5 stars

The food is fresh. I tried several menu items, and they were all excellent. The staff was super friendly and helpful. I love their hot sauce bar, and options to purchase bottles. They also have a decent beer selection. I highly recommend Tijuana Flats!

Tijuana Flats is the newest restaurant in ChampionsGate, FL and is a 5 minute drive from Gathering Houses near Disney. The atmosphere is fun, fun, fun! Brightly painted walls feature quotes from the Tijuana Flats Manifesto, popular 80’s and 90’s music is played, and patrons happily enjoy their customized menu selections. Outdoor patio tables with colorful umbrellas are welcoming too. Discounts/Specials: Become a “Flat Head” and receive offers for discounts and coupons. The ChampionsGate location is so new, I had to choose a different Florida location. I immediately received an email offer for a free Tijuana Trio that I can just show the staff on my phone. No printing is necessary. They also have two weekly offers: Tijuana Tuesdaze – Every Tuesday get a special deal on two tacos, chips & a drink for $5.99! Throwback Thursdaze – Every Thursday get a special deal on a Tijuana burrito OR burrito bowl, chips & a drink for $5.99! The menu includes burritos, bowls, chimichangas, flautas, nachos, tacos, salads, quesadillas, churros, soft drinks, iced tea, and bottled beers. Your meal is made to order with fresh ingredients, including homemade chips, tortillas, queso, guacamole, and salsa. You can order your meal “wet” (covered in queso or chipotle sauce) and you can choose a sauce from the Hot Bar. Some are not for wimps! If that isn’t enough reason to eat here, consider the company’s commitment to: No microwaves or freezers Vegetarian, lard-free beans No canned foods EVER ZERO trans-fat cooking oil Hormone-free chicken & steak My last visit I tried a chicken burrito smothered in queso (“wet”), a side of guacamole, and iced tea. All were delicious and the portions were HUGE! My girlfriends and I all agreed it would be easy to share a meal here and still leave with leftovers. The guacamole tasted fresh with just the right amount of onion and tomatoes. I’m from Texas, so I consider myself an expert when it comes to Tex-Mex and guacamole quality :). The guac at Tijuana Flats rivals that of my favorite Tex Mex restaurants in the Lone Star State! Just guac, chips, and a cold one would be the perfect snack for me out on their patio. The restaurant offers a vast beer selection, including lagers, IPAs, and witbeirs, to name a few. Consult their recent blog post featuring suggestions and beer/food pairings for ideas. If you’re not a fan of spice, don’t worry. You can customize your order and let the staff know your wishes. They won’t judge how wimpy you are. Speaking of the staff, the counter clerk was super friendly, helped us understand the menu better, and recommended a few of her favorites. During our meal, employees checked in with us about our experience, refilled our drinks, and took away our trash. The customer service and restaurant cleanliness was some of the best I’ve experienced in the area, which makes it easy for me to recommend Tijuana Flats as a must-go dining destination when staying at one of our homes. Speaking of staying at our properties, if you are at one of the Gathering Houses near Disney, you most likely are feeding a crowd. Tijuana Flats offers a Hardly Homemade Burrito Kit and a Hardly Homemade Taco Kit. Both can be pre-ordered online and picked up for a fun time at on of our homes, Tex-Mex style. The website describes the kit as, “Priced at $34.99, the Burrito Kit feeds up to six people and is packed full of all the Tijuana Flats essentials, including protein (chicken and beef), toppings (jalapeños, onions, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and cheese), choice of refried or black beans, rice, flour or wheat tortillas, and chips. The Kit also comes with instructions for “How to Roll a Fat One” via a 10-step process that includes directives like “Add cheese (a cheesy burrito is a happy burrito)” and “Fold the sides in toward the center, making your tortilla hug those tasty insides.” The Hardly Homemade Taco Kit comes with similarly humorous instructions, is $31.99, and also feeds six.

Tonight we ordered two of the new Queso Crunch Burrito’s to try them out. You are able to choose your protein and we ordered one with steak and one with chicken. Additional filling includes queso, tortilla strips, garlic lime sauce, rice, black beans and pico de gallo. Ours came with a side of tortilla chips and we ordered our burrito wet with queso which is served on the side for to go and delivery orders which is really nice. This burrito was very flavorful and sizeable enough that it could be shared or you could save half for another meal. The price for the Queso Crunch Burrito with chips and a drink was $10.58 and well worth that price. While we ordered online and had our food delivered through Door Dash and didn’t have contact with any Tijuana Flats team members, we visit this location several times per month to celebrate Taco Tuesday whether it’s Tuesday or not. The team at this restaurant is always friendly and helpful.
