We come here pretty often. Yes, it's a chain; yes, it's California-style Mexican food, not authentic Mexican or OG Southwestern, but, it's good. Prices are pretty much standard for any burrito joint anymore, good size portions, their Baja salsa negra is 🤤 grilled veggies are awesome, and the enchilado style burrito comes with sauce & cheese baked on the chips which imo everyone should do.
All the food we've ever gotten here is indeed fresh - never had a problem with quality. Staff is as friendly and helpful as they can be, considering they seem to have a lot of to-go's coming in.
Food was delicious; cook very well and service was excellent. My husband compares it to Cafe Rio he likes the Sweet Pork there but loves the Mango Salsa here on his Quesadilla...
So I’m not normally a costumer to enter a place 10 min before they close because common. But I was really craving a burrito so I walked in and if I were them I would be annoyed for walking in 10 min before closing and let me tell you the two employees working tonight were so nice and didn’t even make one bad gesture very happy with the costumer service and burrito was fire ! And they even hooked it up with salsa
Was a little understaffed but was still quick. This has nothing to do with the restaurant but the baja sauce in there shrimp burrito is the weak link. The spots that didn't have it was good.
Service is amazing— the staff really goes above and beyond making sure you’re taken care of. Always very friendly. That being said.. it usually takes more than a couple minutes to prepare your food so just keep that in mind!
We love Baja Fresh and we're excited to get to eat at one today. Wish we had one closer to us but they just keep closing. Very good, fresh food.

Sorry Los Favoritos.....but you have to take a second place to Baja Fresh. Love the taste....the Baja Chicken burrito was tasty....the pager is a smart idea..... especially for those of us that prefer to be outside with the beautiful weather. Thank you for having outdoor seating with umbrellas..... it's too bad that the southerly winter sun means the upright umbrellas offer little shade at the table. So my solution is to bring my own 3 foot umbrella ;)

Oh ya....a nice touch with the complementary chips. The salsa bar is top notch. Medium red salsa is my favorite. Friendly counter folks, too.

So let me start by telling you this is the best Fresh food I've tasted ever. Baja Burrito was very flavorful the Tortilla Soup was very good and the salsa Baja has always been my favorite. Baja Fresh has kept its quality and taste over the years 20+ yrs . Same taste , I was an insider at one point and it doesn’t get any fresher than their food . I’ve worked at many other burrito shops and their food is not fresh at all. I wish there was more shops around seems like the only one they kept was this one. Todays food took me back to the good times . Love Baja Fresh
Baja Fresh was fantastic! It's been a long time coming, but worth the wait!
I went in for take-out. The food is cooked to order so it tasted very good.
I chose a taco platter with one fish and one shrimp taco. The shrimps were a good size and they provided a generous proportion of them on my taco. Very good! My fish taco also had a good sized hunk of fish on it.
My husband got a seasonal offering - the enchilada platter.
I added a chicken taco soup as an appetizer. I'm not sure if that was also a seasonal offering, but it had a decent amount of chicken in the soup and came with little nacho strips to top it with. It was very tasty.
Oh, and the piece de resistance at Baja Fresh - the salsa bar!!! My husband loved the mango salsa and I thoroughly enjoyed the salsa Verde. It was a fresh salsa - which gives it a vibrant green color. Nice!!!
I had the Burrito Ultimo with chicken and it was absolutely delicious. It was way better than Chipotle. The ingredients tasted really fresh and made a big difference. I also really liked the salsa verde as I could taste the fresh limes. I only wish they had one closer to my house.
Best Mexican food! I absolutely love the burritos, nachos, and queso.

We Tried a burrito and a bowl, it was filling and loved the roasted and the mango salsa, will go back soon to try the seafood. It's not the most inviting atmosphere but it was clean, the pop machine didn't offer all the selections it was designed for.
Lots of crumbs for chips with queso..no one was in front of me but took 5 min to have someone take my order. The 2 fish tacos were ok other then the tacos being like rubber concerning the tortillas.
Clean restaurant, friendly staff and amazing food. We will definitely go back.
The people working there were super nice. It been years since I ordered from Baja fresh in Arizona and I was so excited! The food was just as good as I remembered it. The salsa bar was just as delicious and fresh as I remembered it. I will definitely be going back there! I have missed Baja fresh for like 10 years and I'm so glad to have them back in the valley!
