I really liked it in here! It got crowded at some point, but the staff was amazing and nice spots to sit and enjoy.

Caviar and Bananas is a MUST TRY in Charleston!! They offer Gluten-free baguettes which is unheard of for any sandwich place, and as someone who has been gluten-free most of my life, this was such a special and wonderful treat! We ate here twice on our three day trip to Charleston and it was great both times! Though their cold drinks are overpriced (we only got them the first time) we loved all four sandwiches we tried! Their flavor combinations are really intentional and scrumptious. Just ask for extra sauce or mayo as the bread is really thick and it felt a little dry. They are located just outside of all the busyness of the bustle of Charleston, so it's quite accessible but nice and quiet. Best Gluten-free sandwich you will have anywhere.

This was the best sandwich I’ve ever had in my life. Not even over exaggerating. Too bad I don’t live in Charleston, because I will be craving this every day for the rest of my life! It was the most delicious, flavorful sandwich I’ve tasted and also reasonably priced. Quality food and ingredients.

Went this weekend with our CofC student who has a favorite sandwich at C&B! She ordered her fave and I tried something different. We took her suite mate too and we all loved it. Delicious and a nice set up. We ordered takeout and enjoyed a picnic close by! Highly recommend.

We were recommended this spot by a student at the college and we loved it so much we went for breakfast two days in a row! The atmosphere was nice, open, and welcoming while also looking very cool. My kiddos came with me and were not out of place. The DIY breakfast sandwich was delicious as was the snickerdoodle coffee (their featured coffee when I went in). I will absolutely return when I visit again!

Gourmet market and café, Caviar & Bananas in downtown Charleston, SC. Offers fresh and delicious breakfast, snacks, lunch, dinner and brunch. Love the charming feel and variety of options from coffee, tea, sweets, deli, and so on. You can dine outside, inside or at the window bar and people watch. Close to College of Charleston's stunning campus, King St. shopping, parking garage, park..Local Insider Secret: Take your food across the street (caddy corner) to the C of C Cistern (benches available) and enjoy the food AND breathtaking view. It is my lunch break treat spot!

This place is so expensive for what it is. I've gotten their Gramercy Salad a couple times and absolutely love it but can't get it frequently because of the price. I also got their Hibiscus Berry herbal tea - it wasn't as sharp as I usually like my hibiscus tea so I won't get it again.

The one thing I learned here was...I have been making sandwiches wrong, my whole life! I tried the Caprese with prosciutto, and the steak. So delish and amazing! The steak had a creamy basil dressing and the Caprese had a basalmic dressing that put both sandwiches over the top!

Caviar & Bananas is A VIBE. I first experienced the old Greenville location, and ever since they closed I make a point to visit the Charleston store when I’m in town. On first impression with the name, you might think it’s hoity toity; but Caviar & Bananas happens to be a very laid back place going for a southern chic vibe. The food is delicious and the store always has cool things to buy if you’re looking for a drink or a souvenir. I like watching them prepare the food in front of you, and everything always comes out looking as good as it does online. I’ve never gotten the same thing on their menu twice, the food’s just that good.

Cool place! We went their for breakfast and coffee before heading back to NC. It was great. The croissants were delicious and the coffees tasted great. The man who take our order was kind as well. Our friends enjoyed their burrito and breakfast sandwich. I recommend trying their iced coffee.

I love this place. The sandwiches are excellent, I had the salmon on focaccia and the salmon fillet was huge. They have indoor and outdoor seating. Alcohol options for drinks as well as an espresso bar, pastries, and nice teas.

Breakfast visit. Slightly confusing ordering system. You order from one counter and pay at the coffee counter but, the food was excellent. Fresh and plentiful. Super casual but done well. Worth it. The weekend breakfast/brunch menu is only for the weekend so the weekday return didn't happen.

Caviar and Bananas was a fun find on our Charleston, SC vacation. Made to order sandwiches and salads were fresh and flavorful. The tables are well spaced and everyone was masked except while eating.
