This is the best meal I've had in a long time. My family and I had dinner here tonight and it was amazing. Our waitress was fantastic, very friendly. The whole family ordered something different and it was all amazing! We will definitely be back soon to try their brunch menu.
I had the fish and grits and was blown away. The mac n cheese could have been a little saucier, but was outstanding nonetheless. I had the juiciest fried chicken here. Never before had I had white meat literally dripping with moisture. The ambiance is amazing and the food is stupid good!

We came for comedy night and dinner. My wife and I had the most amazing bacon cheeseburgers. Everything was cooked to perfection, and our service from Shane was definitely top notch. We definitely will be back for future comedy shows and more of the great food.
Food was great. Everything we ate was as good or better than advertised. Levi was super as our server.
Our waiter was Randy. He was attentive but not obnoxiously so. He let us know to expect a wait but, it was never too much of one. Im reccomending this place to everyone. The food was great and its not bad to look at either. I love the decorated walls, flat screens near by so we can enjoy family time but watch the game , if you're in to that kind of thing.

Me and my two boys were in last night for dinner and our service was amazing. The food as always was so delicious and the atmosphere was perfect as always. Our Server Meghen was incredible. I always recommend people go and give it a shot because they won't regret it.
First time at Ms. Rose's. Absolutely loved it. The Flatbread was amazing, not to mention the Cucumber Martini....to die for!! All made fresh in house....

I can’t believe I haven’t come here sooner. This place is a bit deceiving from the outside. You don’t really know what you’re going to get. But when you go inside it’s an absolute vibe! Unlike any restaurant I’ve been to in Charleston. There’s a room in the back that can be reserved for parties with the most heartwarming wall art. It’s stratified layers of the previous restaurant’s utensils & supplies. And the story behind it is just beautiful.
Our waitress, Angela, was awesome. She was super helpful, friendly, and accomodating.
The food and cocktails were amazing as well. I have absolutely no complaints. Will definitely be coming back here for date nights & dinner with friends.
Oh! They have award-winning Shrimp & Grits! And you’ve got to try their butternut squash ravioli!
We started with the loaded brisket fries and they were fantastic. I could have made a meal from those alone. I know it's picky but to me, fish & chips is beer battered fish with thick-cut steak fries so I'm disappointed when I order it from a menu and get cornmeal-breaded fish with French fries. The fries were good, the fish needed seasoning but was okay but it's not fish & chips. (They looked at me like I was crazy when I asked for vinegar). That said, the shrimp and grits was delicious and the portions were huge. Service was friendly if a little slow.
Had a party of 6 and barely anyone else there at the time. Big food portions, especially the fried chicken. Was amazing and well priced. Best corn bread I've ever had! Will be back for more and dessert this time.

Fast and friendly service. Liz took care of us with a smile. Restrooms and tables clean. food was very good. We had shrimp and grits, smoked chicken, wings, and beers. The smoked wings are juicy and tasty – full of flavor. I will be back for more.
Cute and trendy place! We sat outside so didn’t see much of the inside. Good food - lots of it! Ordered fish and chips and their fried chicken. Very filling! Biscuits were to die for!!
Ms. Roses has never disappointed, whether for lunch, happy hour, dinner, or brunch. The gluten free buns are made in-house. Also, the loaded fries with brisket are something I think about all the time.
Nice meal. Salad was good. Person with me didn't like her meatloaf. I thought the flavor was good, just a little dry. She said the coconut pie was good. She loves Banana pudding but they only had banana pudding cheesecake. She will try that next time.
Fun atmosphere, good food and cocktails, good wine selections, but our server made the night!! She was attentive and had a fantastic sense of humor!
I love love love this spot! A true representation of don't judge a book by its cover. The outside looks old school diner esque. Inside is cozy, modern but yet still keeps its diner roots. The food is amazing and the atmosphere matches the quality of food. Can't wait to go back!
We stopped just to grab a bite to eat before hitting the water. As soon as we walked in the door we felt super welcomed. The hostess was very welcoming, and our server was AMAZING. We ended up grabbing some drinks that were very well balanced (Crown Cobbler and Roses Frose) and some appetizers (The BBQ nachos & brisket fries). We will definitely be back. Thank you to Raven for her outstanding service.
Food was fantastic. Had fried chicken, husband had shrimp and grits. Both were delicious. Decided to get the corn dip, it was pretty amazing. The restaurant inside has really different decor, they have a wall with all of these different restaurant furnishings as a “sculpture” and it is really interesting. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone and if I come to Charleston again, this is on my go to list.
This is a very good restaurant and one of the most underrated ones in the city. I enjoyed my meal because I love sandwiches and french fries. I happened to have a chicken salad sandwich on this particular day, but with its variety choices of burgers and sandwiches, the choice wasn't an easy one. They make nice and fresh salads as well. I'd recommend that you try the pumpkin spice cake, too. It is a sports bar grill type atmosphere that makes all conducive. Roses is under the radar now, but hopefully, more people aren't going to pass this fine place up.
Very interesting decor and a very cool place. Fried chicken is famous and it's excellent. The blacken snapper BLT was also outstanding. Staff was friendly and took great care of us. Definitely worth a visit.

Absolutely amazing food. The venue itself is great even during the pandemic, with isolated booths inside and a large patio area. Based on my visit, they also do reservations for parties as well since the patio was being used for this during our visit. The food was fairly priced and the quality was off the charts amazing. I will definitely be returning again in the near future and moving forward. The restaurant was also insanely clean. Very impressed! Try the fried chicken, you won't regret it!
