First time going, only has 5 sushi rolls and spring rolls...the food came out pretty quickly, good beer selection...definitely recommend this place...can't wait to go back to try out more of the menu

Went here for sons 19th birthday. He wanted sushi. Wife doesn't care for sushi. She got steak and shrimp and it was amazing. Son and I did get sushi.

Best Sushi and Thai around. I eat here at least once a week if not more and it is amazing every time. Its so hard to find a restaurant that keeps consistent in town but this place has it perfectly! We love eating at Tasty Thai and sometime we even get it delivered.
The back bar is the place to be!!!!!!!
I ordered the Pad Thai. It was very good! There are cool murals on the walls and the workers were friendly. "While looking at the cool murals on the wall, I felt like a was a fish eating Thai food" - Brian 🍜🇹🇭🐟
Tasty Thai is one of my favorite downtown choices - especially for their sushi! Great selection of nigiri and rolls, but also have noodles and rice-based dishes if that's more your style. I almost always also get the seaweed salad. The staff is very friendly - Be-be in particular is always a delight. Stop in if you're on King Street!
Sake is to die for and sushi is to live for! Great relaxed environment and amazing customer service. Don't forget to try the coconut soup.
This place has really good sushi and pad Thai. Came here as an out of towner, and if I ever get the chance to visit again I will be back!
1st time there with my best friend and we enjoyed the happy hour specials. Our server, Be-Be was excellent. She went above my expectations. Reminded me in my server days. She recommended the Basil Fried Rice which was amazing. Will definitely be my new spot for Thai food. 2nd time trying Thai in Charleston since I moved back and this was the best choice.
Excellent menu! Loved everything we tried. Tasty Thai has great lunch specials, and the entire restaurant is splashed with the most beautiful murals. The back room has a great-looking bar and a pocket pool table. Excited to return!
I love this place so much. For the many years I’ve been in college and then graduate school, it’s been keeping me going with amazing food.
The waitstaff is polite and really knowledgeable about Thai dishes and cuisine, and the prices for Charleston are very fair (especially for the large amount of food you get!)
Finally, the food itself is delicious. My favorite dishes are probably the Chicken Pad Prik, Pad Thai, and Tofu Fried Rice. However my girlfriend has recently been getting their pork ribs, which has made me start to crave them now. The sushi is well made and you can get a combination of Thai food and sushi if you drop in for lunch. It’s a great deal!
Please consider stopping by next time you’re around King Street and are craving some authentic spicy Thai flavor.
As with a lot of buildings downtown, the inside of this restaurant smells a little weird...but that's downtown for you. The food was amazing, though - I've been struggling to find a good thai place since moving back into the area, but I've finally found it! The lunch portion was huge (I had leftovers) and reasonably priced, for downtown (about $10-11). I definitely want to go back soon to get my next pad thai fix :)
The thai food and sushi was tasty.....get it?😋 Try the Pad See Eu, it's very good. I also sampled the White Thai draft beer and I highly recommend it. We got our food within 5 minutes of ordering....great service! Prices were different than advertised online, but still worth the bill that will be set in front of you with delicious mints to freshen your breath and kiss the beautiful date that accompanied you.
Came out of the cold today to excellent Thai food. Barnes (sp) was our server and very efficient and effective. The sound level was superb. My husband has severe hearing loss and this restaurant at about 1:00 pm was wonderful. The green curry was very good. My husband's Pad Thai was heavenly. Traveling by sailboat from MN and loved this place. Thank you for an excellent meal.

I thought the staff was very friendly, attentive, and made excellent conversation. There was a nice selection of beer, wine, and interesting house cocktails. Everybody in my group liked their food a lot. I got the chicken pad thai and liked it. I would have liked it spicy but still very tasty with good portions. I almost want to give four stars for the lack of kick to the pad thai but the service was just so excellent. Prices were reasonable for the area.
Unbelievable. Have lived in Charleston for 2 years- By far the best experience and meal I've had so far. The service, quality is unreal. And then add the presentation-- no one in town gets close! LOVE this place!
