Absolutely delicious!! The owners are amazing and kind. The buffet is the way to go. You get to sample some of the more common dishes. I am a big fan of “buffet to go” and I’ve been about a dozen times in the last year or so. I’d go more if I was over that way more. Just try it!
The food was excellent; fresh, great variety, and well labeled, so you knew what you were trying. We were seated, and then no one came back, so we went up to the buffet. We couldn't find the large plates, but other patrons helped us. (Duh!) It was quiet, and they had soft music playing in the background. Very nice.
The food here is incredible and the service is amazing. I can’t recommend this restaurant enough!
They used to have the best Indian food in Charleston, but they said they can't find workers so the food is now inconsistent. They must not have written recipes because you can tell different people cook on different days because of how different it tastes and looks. The atmosphere is not great at all. Usually they have no AC and the bathrooms are REALLY dirty. The owners said they are closing in October to redo the entire place so hopefully when they reopen they fix the food the inconsistencies to go along with the new place.
We enjoyed fresh authentic Indian cuisine during their buffet hours. The items were consistantly replenished. The owners were very nice and checked on us often throughout our dining. We never felt rushed or guilty for eating way more than we should. We definitely will be coming back again!
Wonderful experience. I loved trying and indian buffet . The owner was kind and attentive. The lunch price is so reasonable, l will definitely be back!!!!! And with friends/coworkers/family
Great Option, if you’re in the mood. I had the pleasure of dining in. While there was a bit of wait, it was well worth it. The food was more than delicious and far fresher than you could imagine. It seems like a small team is running the place so they could benefit from more attention!
If my trip was not so short, I would be back for more!!
A great place to try a variety of Indian food. My husband and I arrived a few minutes after they opened on Saturday. I don't think they were fully ready for customers as they were still putting out food onto the buffet. We grabbed our plates and dug in to some very fine food. We love the buffet option as it allows you to sample many things. There was lots to choose from and all were delicious. The service was good and prompt. My marsala tea arrived quickly and everyone was very friendly. The decor is unique and a bit dated but you won't even notice after your first bite. We left stuffed and very happy. We most certainly will be back to get our fix of spices and naan.
As soon as I opened the door it smelled amazing, I loved this place it was so good. The buffet was delicious and had so many options, staff were very friendly and there was a nice atmosphere.
It's a little hole-in-the-wall type of place with attentive staff and great prices. They also have the best tandoori chicken in town. Go for that alone.
Very authentic - all the way to check out where they had a fennel seed digestion refresher thing... the food was delicious- even my kids loved it!
Excellent food and variety on the menu. Our server was attentive and seemed knowledgeable about the menu. Reasonable prices. We had the rasmalai for dessert and it was really good. The interior was decorated nicely. The building seems older and could use see attention. It was somewhat warm and humid in the restaurant.
So good, real North Indian food.. the lunch buffet was perfect!! ❤️❤️ The vegetable dumplings, shrimp and rice dish, raita.. wowed by everything!
