Not from the area but stopped in a couple different times I was in Charleston and got some fantastic wine recommendations. I used to order beer from them during COVID for shipping and they were so kind. Sad to hear they are closing - wishing their talented staff all the best.

Went to dinner with a friend, both first timers. This place was amazing! The food, 12/10! Wanted to try more but physically couldn’t. The serve at the outside bar, table service and inside bar were spot on. Answered all questions and made great suggestions! The ambience, I didn’t want to leave. Felt like I’ve been there a million times and was like home. I can’t wait to return.

A great place to stop to grab some delicious Edmunds Oast beers. Easy parking, a great selection of beers on tap, and a solid and always changing choice of beers in the fridge and on the shelves. Service is always great, and samples are always happily provided from the tap selection. Crowlers are reasonably priced, and I've had nothing but good things to say about pretty much all their beers. I'm a massive fan of their sours!

I can't even begin to describe what a great time I had here. The inside of he Exchange is clean and beautiful. The beer and wine selection is absolutely incredible. On top of that, our bartender was beyond awesome. Katie made our entire time there very entertaining. Katie "Christ", if you're reading this...you are awesome!

Glad we got to pop in to the brand new @eoexchange for our #souvenirs before we left #Charleston #roadtrip #vacay #gorgeous #location #beer #wine wish I had taken some of their beers in a growler but I had a long drive ahead. Picked up some local stouts, nice bubbles and coconut vinegar. Grab the spices/condiments sold by the chef.

Best bottle shop for beer or wine in the area. I was excited to see the improved Charleston Beer Exchange in their new setting and was not disappointed. The shiny new spot has a selection of beer and wine that caters to local favorites with some options that may not be found in grocery stores. The store is nicely arranged by beer style for easy access. I did not come across any whales this visit but was excited to see an extensive list of beers available for crowler or growler fill. The compound also host a restaurant which we didn't try but could be a convenient multitask if the desire arises.

Absolutely incredible selection at this place. Beats Total Wine and Bottles hands down. My office gets pony kegs from Edmunds Oast Exchange for our taps. It's relatively pricey, but again the selection is unmatched. We held a meeting upstairs in a tasting room one time, and the staff treated us like high profile clients at an exclusive restaurant.

Fun spot for a quick bite, a refreshing beverage, or both. Don't sleep on that sandwich menu, either. That Italian Sub got next.

Such a cool spot, different tastings throughout the week, and super friendly staff. Edmunds Oast also makes some of the best beer/sours in Charleston. Definitely stop by if you have time!

We stopped by with some friends when visiting Charleston to pick up some wine. I loved the interior of this place. It was covered with wood and smelled amazing. There's a small bar downstairs and a decent collection of beer. Upstairs there is a large selection of wine. They were incredibly friendly and helped our friends decide which bottle they should get for their taste. Come here for a good wine selection and great service!

Cool store as part of the Edmunds empire down here. I went for the beer selection which to be honest I will say I was hoping there would be more. Was hoping to find somethings that were available everywhere else. I did enjoy finding beers from other places, and that you could have everything in a single was great. Managed to get a wide variety.

I love this place! They do weekly wine tastings (free with $5 donation to their charity) they have a wide varietal of wines from all sorts of different regions! I miss their cheaper happy hour deals but everyone’s Always very friendly and helpful and you can also of course buy Edmund’s oasts best beer there too!

Made our day! First stop off the plane for my wife’s birthday week and I messed up our destination BUT the people here are the most hospitable I’ve ever met! They’re incredible. Will 100,00% recommend and revisit every trip.

Friendliest and most knowledgeable crew about wine and beer you'll find. Brand new store that is now connected to Edmunds Oast. They provide growler fills and also host wine and beer tastings. Be sure to ask for suggestions if you feel lost, they are great at helping discover new styles and trends. So glad to have the exchange back!

Impressed by the COVID measures they’ve taken to keep their patrons safe. Max was exceptionally helpful in helping me select the beer that I needed. My wife was helped in finding an amazing pinot noir for herself. I’m so sorry the staff has to deal with crazy people who still refuse to wear masks. We witnessed this happen while we were there and the staff dealt with them forcibly. Thank you for helping us and keeping us safe!
