1837 Bed & Breakfast - Charleston - Photo album

We stayed here for five nights on a recent trip to Charleston. It’s a basic bed and breakfast. The breakfast is unfortunately pre made egg and bagel sandwiches, yogurts, granola bars, and some truly awful French toast sticks. The room and cool and spacious. Bed was comfy. Shower was small but had pl
Rooms are easy to hear through, but charming. Great porches, and walking distance to the main downtown area. Breakfast bagel sandwiches really hit the spot, though I was surprised they were the only options and boxed up under a warmer. Really enjoyed the brownies and beverages available. Wish it was
We came here on our honeymoon and enjoyed our stay. The rooms are cozy and clean. It's located in walking distance to the historic district while still being quiet at night. We also thought the price point was incredibly fair compared to other B and B's in the area. I think my only complaints are a
We stayed here last year and it was soooo perfect! We were out for much of the days so we didn’t get to do tea time and dessert, but the breakfasts were very delicious. We stayed in several of their rooms and they moved our bags for us. Every room is very unique and clean. Would definitely recommend
We had a wonderful stay at the 1837 Bed and Breakfast a couple of weeks ago. The location was great and was within walking distance of anything in downtown Charleston. The hosts were also great and were able to accommodate my wife's dietary restrictions with ease. If you are looking for a B&B exp

The breakfast was delicious! Nothing like what you will get at any regular hotel. We came in October and we noticed that they had pumpkin spice flavored coffee vs standard coffee that you might find at a hotel breakfast. Also, afternoon tea time held up to the standard of a southerner's palate. The

My wife and I stayed at the 1837 Bed & Breakfast for 4 nights during our honeymoon in Charleston and are so happy with our decision! Mohamad and Lynn were excellent hosts! Their breakfasts were always very tasty and just enough food to start the day, as were the desserts for the afternoon tea servic
My mom and I spent several nights here on a recent girls' trip to Charleston the week of fourth of July. My boyfriend and I stayed here on our way to Miami, Florida from Pennsylvania. We had our car filled with all of our belongings as we were moving. It was fantastic to be able to park in their lot behind the premises and feel totally secure. We stayed in the carriage house and were very satisfied wit
My wife and I recently stayed 3 nights at 1837 and we could not have been more pleased! The location was fantastic and anywhere you would want to get in the Historic District is no more than a 15 minute walk. We felt safe walking to and from the property at all times throughout the day and night. Th
