Overall good and quality peanuts. However it is very salty, would not recommend as the heart and blood vessels related with high salt input. And $8 per pound is bit over priced as you can find cheaper price nearby stores.

My family has been getting peanuts from Timbo's since I was a child (I'm 23). They have always been the very best and prices are reasonable still. The only drawback is this is a family owned business, maybe even owned by one person, so they're not always open. I do not know their hours. Just catch them whenever they're open and you absolutely will not regret it! Always hot, fresh, and delicious.

I'm a regular. Timbo's peanuts are hot and fresh, plus he's a kind man. If you're new to the South, his product is a great introduction to the "Southern caviar."

I was traveling in Charleston for the day on the way to magnolia plantation. I knew I wanted some boiled peanuts from a roadside stand at somepoint durring my trip to S.C. I nearly slammed on my brakes when I passed the stand, but opted to stop when I passed back by. Simply the best boiled peanuts ive ever had, so much flavor. I bought a pound of each flavor, 2 lbs were gone in 2 days. I had no idea I would be getting the best boiled peanuts possibly in SC. If im ever back in Charleston im definitely gonna plan my visit on a day Timbos is open. I loved the bits of jalapenos in the cajun flavor, and the smokyness of the ham, and the savoryness of the regular. If you know someone that isnt into boiled peanuts or has never tried them, this shop will make them a fan for sure. Stopping by here is a must do.

If you are in the area definitely pick up a big bag. Best boiled peanuts anywhere. Timbo is a stample of Charleston if you visit and didn't visit timbo's can't really say you've been to Charleston.

I came all the way from Maryland to try Timbo's peanuts and let me tell you I was not disappointed. Not only did I get some good and tasty boiled peanuts I also got a bit of history as well. Timbo is declared the longest-running boiled peanut stand/operation in Charleston. There are 3 flavors: Original, Cajon and surprisingly, ham. (I tried the ham flavor and it was good...in case you were wondering.) And yes, I did go back the next day to take some back to Maryland lol

Best peanuts ever! (Other than my Mama’s of course!) love Timbo. I moved from Charleston years ago and have to stop and get peanuts ever time I’m in town.

ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING! Try cajun, ham, or regular flavored boiled peanuts, or heck get a bag of each for your backyard party or snacking pleasure. While you're there, take 5 minutes and talk to Timbo about his story. Short version: He started selling peanuts 2x per week while his full time job was at the airport, and took an entrepreneurial leap after the first year and he's going strong since!

GREAT boiled peanuts! When in the South, you HAVE to get boiled peanuts. I got the Cajun and the original. Both are DELICIOUS. Imagine the ham would be good too!

Interesting first experience with boiled peanuts. Clearly family operated small trailer. Seemed popular and peanuts are fine. Not my favorite though, I stick with roasted.
