Can’t wait to go back! Been coming here for 20 years and the food keeps getting better! Went for date night on Wednesday and Don was our server, best server ever. Couldn’t decide what to get but I started with 6 raw oysters which were gone so fast I didn’t get a picture. Then we got two taco orders and shared. Awesome!!! Try the collard greens, you won’t be disappointed, southern style.
First timer here. Everything on the menu looked good and let me just tell y’all, everything we ate there was SO GOOD! Everything had so much flavor. Honestly think this is my new favorite place to eat! Definitely check it out!
Visited this place for the first time today. I sat out on the patio with the waterfront. I don't think there was a single thing I disliked that I can recall. The food was 10/10, and the view was beautiful. I had the flounder sandwich, and it comes with two pieces of flounder on it, great flavor. Fries were as perfect as they could get. Slightly crunchy but retaining the flavor. It's hard to believe this place is in Charlotte. Randomly found it today. Food is on the higher priced side but very good.

Great location, one of the few spots we found with oysters though they're imported from the gulf so it wasn't what we were expecting, thought they would have local oysters. Drinks were extremely weak on liquor and we even purchased an additional $3 shot which they stated was in the drink but clearly did not taste at all of liquor. Way too expensive for the quality of drinks and no happy hour either.. we ordered some shrimp tacos with the oysters which were pretty good, only wished it were three tacos instead of two. Service could have been better with how empty the location was, my husband even went to the bar to order more drinks for our table since our waiter was nowhere to be found to be rudely told that they couldn't serve him that many drinks at once "what do you think this is" response which could have been handled differently than it did but instead left us with a sour note in our evening. Overall, this is a one and done spot for us. Location is the only thing that saved it with 4 stars for me. $6.50 greentea shots, $7 beers, food and drinks for three totaled to ~ $300 with tip.
5 stars, all around. It's rare that I find sports pubs that can accommodate my black pepper allergy with more than a bare salad.
At Boardwalk Billy's, I was able to order buffalo chicken wrap WITH blue cheese dressing AND mac-n-cheese, AND it was ALL AH-MAZING!

Stopped in for lunch. Great, friendly service. The food was fresh, hot and delicious. We especially enjoyed the view. We will be back on return trips to try other menu items.
Been living in CLT for 23 years now and Billy's is still such a vibe and the food is always good! Never skip the crab dip. It's a must!
My love and I enjoyed ourselves at this venue. The food was great and the atmosphere was fun and lively. I love the University City area.

Mitchell was our server. He was friendly, had a fantastic attitude, quick & efficient! Customer service doesn’t exist in this post pandemic world so to get fantastic service that was so effortless for him is amazing. You can tell he was just genuinely enjoying life. I’m thankful for people like him who still have some hospitality left to give. My kids and I come here often they enjoy sitting on the patio when the days are nice. This really is “our spot” thanks Mitchell for making it extra special today with your fantastic service.
The food is always good I’ve probably had a bad experience with food once in the last 6 months. My drink today wasn’t the best but usually they are spot on. I ended up switching to a beer not sure who was behind the bar but the other cocktails were that good either. The portion size of the kids meal wasn’t the same today either. Nevertheless I come because there is usually consistency with food, drinks and service can be pretty basic most days. But hopefully Mitchell can help us moving forward!
The food was very good. Our server Lexy was extremely personable. She provided honest recommendations. I recommend this location.
