Tried the chicken sandwhich, tuna, fish tacos, and crab cakes. Food was absolutely delicious. Try the french fries!
Wine selection was great and there’s something for everyone.
Service was amazing. Waitress was attentive and helpful.
Atmosphere was a bit bland, but it does it’s job.

We had a great time at The Wine Shop. Seating and service were excellent as was the food. Would definitely go back. Nice atmosphere, paintings on the wall and a relaxing time.
Current hostess is not up to Wine Shop standards. FOOD IS INCREDIBLE!!! Service has always been nice, attentive and prompt.

If looking for a quiet place to have a glass of wine ( or two) around Steel Creek, NC; this is the place. Large selection of wines to choose from. Should have taken a picture of the snapper before it was gone, but I was actually hungry.
Went to the Wine Shop for a quick lunch! Sat outside and got chilly quick so we decided to eat inside. We got a glass of wine and a beer The wine was great and beer was cold. I Ordered the hamburger with BBQ on it and slaw. Side salad. Also ordered Fried Goat cheese and apple salad. The burger was one of the best hamburger I have ever had. It had a pulled pork on it with a mustard bbq sauce and Cole slaw and was a great surprise. Total will get it again when I go back next time!! She loved her salad cleaned her plate witch is rare for us. I cleaned my plate there was nothing left.They have a cigar section so stop by and get one! When you Go take all your friends and family. Wine Shop is the place to go for dinner, lunch, or just a glass of great wine. Also is a great gift for the holidays or birthday gifts! They have a great section to wrap it up how ever you need! Great brunch spot. Amazing wine selection and food. Service is always great and personal. Eggs Benedict are best in the region. So many good options on the menu. Outdoor and indoor seating. Walking distance to shops.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Wine shop in RiverGate, and I must say, it was an excellent experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm smile and a friendly hello from the staff. The ambience of the place was inviting, with a cozy and elegant décor that made me feel right at home.
One of the first things that caught my attention was the impressive selection of wines, both domestic and international. The shop had an extensive collection of wines, with something to suit every taste and preference. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, providing recommendations and guiding me to the perfect bottle that suited my palate.
While the wine selection was impressive, the food was equally delightful. The menu had a great selection of dishes, ranging from appetizers to entrees, all created with love. I tried the charcuterie board, which was a beautiful selection of meats, cheeses, and fruits that paired perfectly with my wine. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was impeccable.
The staff at the Wine shop were exceptional, providing excellent service throughout my visit. They were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, making sure that I had a wonderful experience. They were always willing to answer my questions, provide recommendations, and make sure that I was comfortable. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer service was truly commendable. Paige in particular was a fantastic person and very knowledgeable about the wines in the shop. Nikki our server, another fantastic personality, walked us through the menu and answered every single question. She highlighted the cases that recommended and set our expectations immediately what are professional!!!!
Overall, I had an excellent experience at the Wine shop in RiverGate. The food, ambience, and staff were absolutely excellent and exceeded my expectations. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great selection of wines, delicious food, and exceptional service.
Great food and wine ! Our first time there and it was a pleasant surprise, had a little wait to be recognized but they were busy , our server was awesome after that wait though, she was very helpful with recommendations, food was very good , homemade vegtable soup that was awesome, also enjoyed the calamari, very different with strips , also had the Italian sandwich, hope to be back soon , 5 stars for the best variety of wine and homemade soup in area, thank you!
The hamburgers are made just right to your order! My was out of this world and beef is amazing taste. I forgot to tell you about the soup, try all of them!
Awesome food & service. The Shrimp Bisque (special) was outstanding. Would love to see it on the menu as a regular choice. Very satisfied customer.
