It randomly got busy at the semi odd mid-afternoon time we were there. The staff (which were few due to the time) handled it wonderfully. The food was very good. The young lady who waited on us handled the large influx of business like a pro.
I don’t like pizza that much but this place has some good delicious pizza, but mainly I came here for the raviolis and the past Alfredo. The Dessert was really good, my family and I were very pleased and we enjoy it a lot. We will definitely come back again to try more.

Whew! I was actually very surprised by this little spot. Everything was good, even their ranch (that’s always a big deal for me 😅). I asked for extra onions on my salad instead of green peppers. The pizza was very cheesy. The wings didn’t have much sauce on them but they were still very crispy. Definitely will be a go to for me ❤️
Excellent friendly service. The decor was not expected, from the outside I expected a pizza place feel, but was pleasantly surprised by the very clean nicely decorated walls. Chicken and Rice soup came out quickly and delicious. Pizza and wings were great. Highly recommend eating here!!!
This was my first time going to House of Pizza and I was pleasantly surprised! I was greeted promptly and then I went to pick up my order. I ordered online and there was zero wait time when I came in to pick up. I ordered the chicken parmigiana and my wife got Alfredo. We also ordered a small house pizza to split.
The chicken parmigiana was amazing! The chicken was cooked to perfection and had a great crisp while the tomato sauce was seasoned well and had a slight spice that came together perfectly. The house pizza (pepperoni, mushrooms, sausage) was great. The crust was light and flavorful and every individual ingredient came together for the perfect slice.
The price for what you get is amazing and the portions were huge! Go here ASAP.
Our food was delicious and our service was Great! Funny... my husband and I were sitting next to a Karen. She watched our every movement from her peripheral view and when that wasn't enough she look over. She listened to our conversation as she chimed in about twice, but Lord... when our pizza came to the table she yelled " What is that"? 🤣🤣🤣
Anyway... we played with Karen the remainder of our dinner. Lol... I bet her neck was sore as heck the next day!!! Nosey Karen... mind your business at your own table with your own husband. That poor guy was sitting there all alone. 🤗😂
Me and my dad got hot wings a medium pizza and mozzarella sticks, they were delicious and the staff was nice. One medium pizza is more than enough for 2 people. I live in Virginia but this place is 5 stars will come again.
Went back to House of Pizza today for lunch and it was better than I remembered. Another great experience their famous Beef Philly was excellent. Our waitress Liz was wonderful, my lunch partner had never been before and was blown away, and kicking themselves that they had never been before.
Am so glad they have reopened after being closed so long for renovations.
Hard to decide whats better, the pizza or the Philly steak sub, cant go wrong with either choice
House of pizza is a Charlotte staple! It's a must try, it's not just pizzas. It's a Greek owned Italian restaurant so the different flavors are really good. My favorite things are the baked tortellini in meat sauce with and that comes with a salad and garlic bread, the chicken alferdo, and the philly cheesesteak!
Wonderful and delicious food. Not too expensive. The servers were very polite and attentive. I will definitely be back.

This was one of the first pizza parlors I visited when I arrived in Charlotte years ago. The pizza was good then and it’s even better now !! I always get my pie laced with veggies but they also have a full American / Italian food menu. The service is always friendly, accommodating and super fast. Coming from Western NY, this pizza is pretty good 💪🏼. The sauce is special and the crust is perfect. This is definitely my “Go-To” pizza spot in Charlotte. Since Covid-19, they’ve added another entrance on the side for take out orders. This keeps the dining room separate from take out traffic. Patio and dining room are both open but you will be required to wear your mask indoors😷. Always clean and plenty of parking available. Close to Midwood and minutes from Uptown. Luv this place !! Keep up the good work !!!
Warm inviting environment from the time we walked in the door until we left. Food was great. Looking forward to our next visit.
The salad is so good. Lots of veggies. The dressing is amazing. The sandwiches have always been top notch. Ironically the pizza is just mediocre, but everything else is fantastic.

Love this place, have been going since I was a kid. Was my dad's favorite pizza so he took us any time we were in the area. Can't go wrong with the House Special!
Waiter was awesome, always made sure drinks were full. Cooks were awesome as the pizza was amazing and the garlic bread is some of the best ive had, my GF agrees. We will definitely be back when in the area! Oh and their music choices are Top Notch!
The cashier (ordered to-go) was very friendly and helpful and the food was quite yummy! Had pizzas- they were generous with toppings and cheese and mild wings- they were very mild and if you like them saucy, you might need to ask for extra sauce. Overall good experience!
One of my favorite places in Charlotte! Nothing beats the comfy, casual atmosphere here. Food is amazing and service is top notch!! One of my favs is the spinach dip appetizer served with warm pita and the pizzas are amazing! Try the famous steak and cheese subs, pastas, housemade meatballs and don't forget the Tiramisu for dessert. You will thank me later!😉
Fantastic family restaurant, that appreciates your business. I get take out more than I dine inside and I love how they always double check my order. I've never had an issue. Definitely, one of the jewels of Charlotte.
Update: Still a great family restaurant. The friendly smiles and great service exudes from the family staff as you dine inside. However, there may be someone in take out that doesn't always project that family dynamic. It's likely because someone staffed for takeout is a non family hire. I hope the friendly service on the room dining floor, is expected with every takeout attendant too.
