We went here for a team lunch today and everyone really enjoyed it.
We had a large group and we're seated right away. There were a lot of good looking things on the menu. Due to diet restrictions, I got the Packhouse Burger with no bun. My only issue was that I got the burger cooked medium rare and it came out medium well. I'm was still delicious though so I can only imagine how much better it would have been if it were cooked right. The toppings were really good. The pimento cheese was sweet which was a little weird. I got green beans as my side which were pretty good.
I was able to sample someone else's chicken tenders which were really good and I heard the casserole of the day was very good as well.
The service wasn't great. I couldn't get a refill of water and it took a long time for us to get our checks and pay.
The decor is very rustic and southern inspired with a lot of wood. They have a lot of beautiful and unique elements.
The food was really good and I would definitely come back again! I'd be interested in trying their brunch.
Very nice surprise. We went in midmorning on a Sunday, not too busy. The place had a very realized feel with great food. Excellent service, parking garage close by. The goat cheese app was my favorite. Coffee hit the spot. A place I would go again.
Excellent atmosphere and the shrimp and grits are AWESOME...Princess was my server and she was also EXCELLENT!!!!
Great food, great drink selection, and amazing service! We had a group of 5, everyone's expectations were exceeded by far!
Really enjoyed it. Nice decor, great service, and the food was delicious.
The food was really good. The setting is amazing - get a table on the patio. The service was also great, from the hostess to server to managers that checked on us. Only problem was that the kitchen was pretty slow. They made up for it with free dessert. We'll go back.
We came into Charlotte from MN looking to buy a home here. We stopped some locals to see where a good place would be for lunch on a Saturday. They referred us to the new Packhouse. We were amazed when we walked in the door. The atmosphere looked a barn was very interesting and country feeling. The food was amazing. We ordered chicken and Mac and cheese and also the shrimp and grits. It was amazing. We were also told to try the nabs and the cream pie also absolutely amazing. We loved it so much we had to come back before traveling back home to MN. The staff is absolutely amazing. We will be back next visit maybe multiple times again. We ordered ribs and the pot pie second time around. Again amazing!!! If you haven't tried this place it's a must! ππ
Shrimp and Grits were delicious! Awesome service and great atmosphere!! Oh and the meat and cheese picks were delish...obviously!
What a great venue!!? This place is cozy and homely with a unique vibe and a deep south feel. The rustic theme is represented cleverly throughout the restaurant in a variety of ways. The food is great, and the desert is no exception! Everything they claim is evident in the service and selection... I had the "casserole of the day" which was a thoughtful spin on chicken and rice with a hint of ranch flavor.
I had dinner here with a friend and we both enjoyed it. The drinks were great and made with a heavy hand π. I had the shrimp and grits with a smoked jalapeno flavor that was delicious. I love spicy food and I could taste the jalapenos which was amazing. Friend of mine had the fried chicken and macaroni that was delish. And the wait staff π...best looking in town.
Came here for lunch and was very impressed! The decor is very rustic even though this place just opened. The turkey sandwich with jam was great along with the oatmeal pie for dessert. Will definitely be back to try some of the house made cocktails.
Went there 2 days after they opened (summer 2017) for lunch. The menu had lots of good selections. I have a very limited selection (CA in gut) of what I can eat & I had a chicken sandwich that was delicious. The wait staff was very pleasant & helpful. Atmosphere was very southern comfort. A wonderful experience. I would recommend it to anyone
This place is adorable! The "southern tobacco field" vibe is great! The service was slow but it's only been open for a couple weeks and our waitress was extremely apologetic about it. Highly recommend this place for an after work cocktail or a nice southern dinner with friends!
Pimento cheese in the picnic basket was delicious, as were the housemade pickles. Fried chicken was fantastic! Finished with the best oatmeal cream pie. Service was great as well. Can't wait to go back.
The Packhouse was amazing! The service was top notch, my water glass never got below empty! Above all, the food was amazingly good. I would definitely recommend either the shrimp and grits or the chicken and waffles.
What an amazing place! Great service and atmosphere! Great location just outside of Uptown. A must have is the Chicken and Waffle Slidders! The taste is out of this world with an explosion of flavors! The burger was delicious as well. Well worth it!
Wait staff and management are incredible. Food is delicious and for the most part reasonable. Unique cocktails and a great outdoor area with rocking chairs and heaters. They even bring you throws to put over if you are chilly.
