"Excellent" doesn't begin to describe how good these cupcakes are, and I have eaten A LOT of cupcakes (Billions and Billions!) I have been smitten ever since the fateful night that we discovered SAS cupcakes in early February. I've probably tried 10 different flavors since then, and have yet to try one that I didn't like. Mochaccino, Smore's, Banana pudding, Strawberry.. you name it.. it's AWESOME! I've read some of the reviews with lower ratings and have seen things like "there's too much icing" or "the icing is to sweet". Never listen to people who say things like this. They are clearly trying to ruin cupcakes for everyone, and you don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
As both a customer and business partner of SAS Cupcakes, I can firmly say that they are FANTASTIC!!! Their cupcakes are absolutely delicious, and it has been an absolute pleasure to work with them. I highly recommend them!!

We just had a birthday party there and I would recommend it. The ladies there are willing and eager to make it perfect in every way. There are some things that could have gone smoother but overall, I would tell others to have their party there. Great cupcakes and super cute

We love SAS! We've had a birthday party there, attended a few and we frequently attend story time! My girls, ages 2 & 4, as well as myself highly recommend it!!
I was there today for the Story Time. My experience was great. It wasn’t overly crowded & the cupcakes were phenomenal. I especially liked the tiramisu. My daughter loved seeing Marshall.

I've never had such a good gluten free cupcake in my life. They even serve up frosting shots. I can't even explain but the whole place is just awesome! They took extra special care to wrap up the cupcakes we ordered to survive a long 11 hour ride to Connecticut. My family was able to enjoy 'fresh' SASand loved the variety of cupcakes!
Puppies love SAS too! They make yummy puppy treats :)
I don’t understand all the bad reviews here, but guess it all boils down to preferences. I think they’re great. It is not a light fluffy cake, it’s a dense heavy cake, which I happen to love vs the fluffy kind. The icing is sweet. And it is amazing. Good buttercream. They didn’t seem stale to me at all. Again it’s a dense cake.
They are a bit pricey but all baked goods are anymore.
I always stop here after my son gets a haircut and I’ve never been dissapointed. The cookies Ans cream is my fav

2021 update: We were in the Charlotte area today & we actually drove out of our way to grab some cupcakes for tonight & take some back home. We were not disappointed! The triple chocolate & the cinnamon cupcakes were todays winners. Their cupcakes are always fresh and are such a treat for us.
2019 Best cupcakes always. I don’t live in the area but I have them shipped. Owner is so helpful with suggestions / ideas when I have special orders. Cupcakes arrive well packaged.

I needed to go to the UPS store located close to this shop. Stopped in to grab a cupcake and walked out with four. All were delicious. The shop is cute, it would be a little girl's party dream spot. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to return an item that I left while there. Highly recommend~
From custom cupcakes to Harry Potter special they are always DELICIOUS AND AWESOME! My order is always correct, on time, and people I give them to as gifts love them!!! They always go fast- as per picture! Couldn't get the whole box in time before they were almost gone.

The cupcakes here are #ToDieFor! Did I say MOIST? ABSOLUTELY! Ok I’m generally not a frosting fan, but SAS’ is so light and delicious I consumed all the icing on my double choc cupcake.

What an amazing place and experience! The employees here are top notch and the cupcakes we had were amazing! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and they were extremely friendly and helpful in helping us pick out our cupcakes! We will definitely be back!
The best of the best. I have been here more times than I can remember and SAS has never let me down. Time and time again, I bring these cupcakes to people’s houses and, time and time again, people are amazed at their quality, uniqueness and deliciousness. SAS does specialty cupcakes (including a GIANT cupcake cake) and apparently hold really fun birthday parties, as well. The shop itself is adorable and feels like you have entered a candy wonderland. Overall, you won’t be disappointed. I highly recommend.
