I came here with a friend on a Friday we both took off for some afternoon drinks and snacks.
We were luckily able to get parking right outside and have almost no walk. We sat at some of the couches and were helped almost immediately by the waiter behind the bar. We got a bottle of wine and the sweet meats board. Both were fantastic. The meat had ham and duck as well as some great spreads to add to the bread. For $12 it was a great deal and very large. The wine list was also very big with glass and bottle options.
There were a decent amount of fruit flies that were flying around us (which is why I put 4 stars) but overall this place was great and I'd recommend a visit
Amazing experience. Friday nights they have live music and wine flights for as little as $12. Charcuterie boards are delicious, and their prices are fair for what they offer. The staff was extremely nice and attentive; everything was on time and not once did I need to track a server down or anything like that. Highly recommended for a date night with your significant other or even a party with some friends.
A nice wine and coffee bar that also shows sport events (baseball when i was there) on television. Staff is very friendly and the sandwiches are also tasty. The Restaurant offers a broad selsction of drinks, such as wine, beer, ale, etc.

We absolutely loved this place! Walked in in casual clothes and didn’t feel out of place. The server went above and beyond to help us find a wine we loved. The selection was great, and the truffles were delicious. We’ll definitely be back here soon, and I’d recommend this to anyone who likes wine! (They serve food and coffee too, but we didn’t have any.)
I hosted a semi private meeting there for some of my clients and the staff was very attentive. They help me to pick out a affordable wine choice that would fit most people's pallet. And tasty tapas options. The venue is stylish and modern. I ended up spending understand budget for the outing. Parking is also accessible in this area. Great week night spot to hangout at with a friend,collegue or date.
This place was fabulous in every way. From the service, wine selection, food variety and coffee. Great spot for date night, girls night, or to hang out at bar with the staff. Atmosphere is chill and spacious, the live band is a plus. If you're looking for a new place to try wine or coffee this is the spot. You wont be disappointed.
July 20th was first time at the Corkscrew and I truly enjoyed it. The owners were very welcoming and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The DJ had a great selection of music and it appealed to the customers. Also met some great people there and the food and drinks were good as well. Definitely going back.
The Corkscrew on 5th Wine & Coffee Bar was terrific! Great scenery, and their wine options were extensive. Would definitely recommend!
I attended on the night the Rumor Mill Duo played. They did an amazing job and made the experience that much more memorable. I look forward to going back in the near future.
The best-value wine bar in Charlotte! There's no comparing this establishment to others if you consider the quantity and quality of food, particularly the cheese and charcuterie plates. I love Thursday evenings because they bring in a knowledgeable sommelier who serves a flight of 4 wines for $10 and if you buy any of the featured bottles, it's discounted by $10 so the tasting is free! Staff are great and the manager, Elise, is particularly nice.
