Delicious!. Mmmm the Naan is so good and fresh, and all sorts of different baklavas! The spinach and cheese fatayers were delicious! I have to come back so I can try everything else!
Awesome. This place is great. There are no Middle Eastern Bakeries within 100 miles, this one delivers. From the bread to the bakalava, this is a serious bakery. I would recommend this place to anyone.
Yummy, cheap, "hole in the wall". I received a "Taste of the Week" email from Charlotte E.A.S.T. highlighting this place, so some friends and I thought we would give it a try. We know nothing about Middle Eastern foods, let alone Middle Eastern baked goods, but the owner made up a sampler of some items for us to try and they were ALL delicious. He was very kind and explained everything on the menu to us. We especially enjoyed the spinach and cheese and the chicken fatayers and the Lahm Be'ajeen (he said this was the most popular item on the menu). There were a few tables to sit at, but my guess is that many people do takeout. They have fresh pita bread and naan and beautiful-looking pastries (I picked up some baklava for a friend). We will be back!
This review is overdue. I used Uber Eats for dinner on Thursday, 11-17-22 for lunch. The portions were enough for both lunch and dinner. I ordered the lamb sambousa, fried eggplant baba ghanouj, cheese manakish, and warbat.
I wasn't expecting the lamb to only be lamb meat. Most other sambousa I've has had vegetables; it was still good. The eggplant was different but it was good. The baklava was ok. Not really enough pistachios to make a difference in taste.

Got the babaganoush, the spinach and cheese fatayer, and the lahm bi ajeen manakish and it was all so tasty! Very flavorful and a little spicy. Would definitely order again
Ordered on doordash. Had chicken schwarma, an order of warbat, and an order of spinach feta pies. Everything tasted fresh and good. The chicken schwarma had a curry flavor to it, and the warbat was soft, creamy, and decadent. Will happily order from here again!

I stumbled on this place when I was looking for a Middle Eastern grocery and butcher (next door). They have brick ovens, fresh pastries, incredible cookies, and all made in an open kitchen right in front of you.
I've never tasted better pita and flat bread in the US, and I've sampled bakeries in Detroit and New York. If you're looking for the best cookies in Charlotte, try this place. The sweets are not cheap...the owner told me they use real butter, pistachios, almonds, and dark chocolate for their cookies, for instance. My wife had me order two boxes for a party, and 4 lbs. of pastries went in one night.
The pita is amazing and incredibly priced. Don't just get one bag, because you will eat the first bag in the car on the way home.
Tried this bakery again. Counter man adamantly asked which cookie. If they put a number or name on cookies it would be smart. They're very quiet and separate. 😎
