I stopped in here this morning and ordered a creme brulee latte with a raspberry cream cheese danish. Before we get into the coffee and danish, let me say that I was really digging the design and vibe of this place. They managed to accomplish a more classy and intimate setting, but at the same time it was also laid back and easy going. I found this to be a unique combination of atmospheres for a coffee shop. Although, they do have wine and a good whiskey selection so that may be why there is an overlap in the settings that I was experiencing. I also appreciated the no laptops on the weekends concept that they have implemented. Even though I didn't find myself chatting with any locals, which is what they stated the goal of this concept is, I think it's a great idea! I find that we too often bury ourselves into technology and forget to experience the things around us. It's a step in the right direction, and a good way to increase the interactions among others. Now, back to the coffee and danish. The creme brulee latte was spot on and the danish was exactly what I needed to get my morning started. I liked the location of this place, and I definitely see The Hobbyist being one of my go to coffee shops!

Plenty of seating space, loved the subdivision and arrange of the different sections. Wish they’d have more food options but loved the coffee.

Outgoing baristas. The atmosphere has a great vibe. Excellent hours of operation. The assistant manager is extremely friendly. I will be back to visit with him and grab another delicious iced mocha in the near future. ☕️

I really enjoyed the Matcha latte. The Cappucino is also excellent. The service was good and they accommodated all our needs for the drinks. The cinnamon roll was very good albeit too sweet for our liking. it complements the coffee very well. If you have a sweet tooth, go for it.

Randomly found this place on a random google search for places to chill in Charlotte before a concert. This spot was everything and more. We came at evening time and we’re looking for an espresso martini and good coffee. Gosh we were blown away. Incredible service, perfectly curated music, friendly service and a dim/moody/cozy atmosphere. The Black Walnut Latte was everything I needed. We came back again the next afternoon and Ty was so kind! ✨

This is one of the best places in Charlotte to grab a coffee or drink! Morning or night the staff is knowledgeable and so friendly! They also have a great selection of varying pastries if you need a snack! 10/10 would recommend.

Amazing little coffee, bar, dessert …..we absolutely loved it and recommend it to anyone looking for a cozy sneak away place to grab a drink or a bite. They even had live music…The Rusty Bucket was playing and they were jamming. Loved it. A+ Clean friendly and fun.

This place is next door from a business I frequent and today I finally decided to stop in. I tried the Iced Marigold Mocha (I think that’s what it was called). I loved it. This is a cute place and I will definitely be stopping in after my sessions and it looks like a cozy place that I can work from. Staff was friendly. The place was clean and beautiful.

I love places that serve coffee and beer at the same time like this place. I just went in to buy a few cans of beer. It’s very clean and quiet even though there was a lot of people there on their laptops. It seems like it would be a great place for that. The canned/bottled beer selection is pretty good and the prices are fair, $7 for a Burial. I’ll be back.
