My husband and I have eaten here twice now and both times, we deemed it as the best meal we ever had! Our first visit was last year right around this time as we were here celebrating our dating anniversary. Last night, we were there celebrating our first full day as Mr. and Mrs. and we are having a quick honeymoon in Chattanooga - a city that we both love dearly. We started off by sharing a house salad and per our request, our server dropped off fresh, delicious bread with a side of butter. I loved that our salad came out on two cold plates with a cold fork, and even though we were splitting the salad, we got our own plates. For our meal, my husband had the prime rib with a loaded baked potato. I had the braised beef with mashed potatoes and green beans. Both of our dishes were incredible!! Such great flavor and the meat was cooked to perfection. Lastly, our server offered us a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating! We chose the chocolate molten cake. Initially, I thought I was entirely too full for dessert but this was too great to pass up. My husband, who isn’t too big on sweets, said it was the best dessert he ever had. Both times we have been so impressed with the service and food. We can’t wait to come back!!

We were in town from Florida and did some research on a good steak restaurant. We showed up with very high hopes and we were NOT disappointed! From start to finish our meal was amazing. The waiter was knowledgeable and professional but also seemed to genuinely care about our experience. I also can’t say enough about my meal...I ordered a filet and I’m always afraid of what I’m going to get. Some places don’t have high quality meats, so they turn out chewy, and some cook it too rare for me (and then blame me for ordering such a thick cut steak). I cut into a perfectly cooked steak, and then I took a bite. I have heard of melt-in-your-mouth steak, but this was beyond that. And price/value was above what I could’ve expected. I’ve paid literally twice that for a fancy steak dinner that wasn’t as impressive as this. My only complaint is that I can’t return to the restaurant sooner! If you are in the area I highly recommend a visit, or two, or ten!

Service was top notch! Our server, Brad, really knew his stuff. He was attentive but not overly. The food was excellent! My friend and I both had different cuts of steak. We both agreed best steak in years! Steaks were delicious and cooked to order. Everyone was friendly and welcoming.

My husband and I celebrated our 26th wedding anniversary here and it was wonderful. Our server was very friendly and very helpful in recommending menu items. I highly recommend Hennens for a special night out.

The food and service was exceptional!! We would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that’s visiting Chattanooga.

THIS place made space for us within 10 minutes on a Friday night with two wheelchairs and 3 little kids! They were joyful when we entered and brought our drinks right away. They have taken excellent care of us! Please share that this restaurant provides A+ service to the general public and those with disabilities!!! Thank you Hennen's!!!!
