The food is great! Service is good! Recommend to anyone for breakfast, lunch or dinner! Try the Ruben and the pork tenderloin sandwich! For eating out the prices are as good as any fast food place!!!
Not easy to find, but worth the trip. Great view of the lake. Attentive service. Honest prices. Great portions. Very loud, though. Try the pancakes or biscuits-and-gravy!
Wonderful food and friendly service. Great food and friendly service. The restaurant is a little hard to find, but worth the drive. It is clean and light. The food is excellent and very affordable.
Breakfast with a view! The restaurant sits atop a ridge that overlooks Lake Thunderbird, surrounded by a dense tall-pine forest in Cherokee Village. The inside of the joint is quaint, but lively. With southern hospitality in surplus, the large open dining room is bustling with elders, as they partake in the most high-energy activity of their day: BREAKFAST. Though you can barely hear yourself talk, it's not such a bad thing. You'll hear old war stories and tales of rainbow trout fishing on the nearby Spring River. You can enjoy the vivacious atmosphere while sipping hot coffee out of an old, heavy, plain white mug. You'll be astounded by the simplistic attitudes of the locals, and scratch your head at the extreme Coca Cola decor, as you inhale one of their ultra cheesy omelets. And to top off the tank, go ahead and indulge yourself with one of many pristine pies watching you from their randomly located lit-up pie safes. Carol's Lakeview Restaurant will fill your gut with the best breakfast in town... But did you forget about Meacham's? It's even BETTER.
Fried Catfish. Yum!! Breaded with a light Cornmeal breading so the delicacy of the catfish comes through. It's a must-have every time we come to Cherokee Village. Another favorite is the soup & sandwich. Because no matter what y=soup you choose, it's always homemade & delicious! Pair that with a grilled cheese & I'm a kid again!
