I found this place on a whim, as my mother and I were on our way to the local farm for the day. As soon as we were about to pass it, I said "mom! It's so pretty, I have to go inside when we're coming back." I'm so glad I did! You can tell it's a neighborhood spot as the locals were inside, chit chatting with either the owner or manager. The outside, of course, is what attracted me and it was so pretty! If we would've had time (and found food parking) I would've enjoyed my purchase outside in their seating area. I had ordered their walnut Blondie and the coconut lavender latte with oat milk. The Blondie was fave and the latte was tasty! It's hard to find anything with lavender so it was a good treat to have. Their walls are lined with Italian cooking foods such as uncooked pastas and sauces. They also have other baked goods and sandwiches to go in their refrigerator. I'm from Manhattan, New York so it was a pleasant trip here, thank you for having me! I definitely suggest if you're in the area for a coffee guys :)
Looking to get away from your run-of-the-mill coffee shops? This is the place to go then! Love their unique blends. When I’m in town I will always get an iced coconut lavender latte. Nothing like I have ever experienced in a latte before. Absolutely love it! Also love how sweet and modest they are. Service is great and grab a little nosh while you’re there too. You won’t be disappointed. Then go sit outside and people watch. They’re located right in the center of town. Enjoy!
Very cosy place! Lady who works there - very friendly and nice! Baked goods are very tasty and not expensive and and I liked my coffee ☕️:)
Marias is amazing! My coworker and I started a new job at the same time and we're so excited to explore the area, as we both weren't familiar with the town. Maria's has become a go to for us. The iced coffees are amazing and the pastries are to die for ( especially the spinach and feta one).
A lot of good options on the menu, very welcoming atmosphere, and I LOVED that the ice was coffee, instead of letting the ice water the coffee down. The coffee was delicious, and it was so cute in there.
Had a hot caramel almond milk latte 😋 it was delicious. They had a few dairy free alternatives which is nice. The staff was friendly as well. The porch outside is a great place to have your coffee and people watch☕️ would return
Was waiting in line and happend to fall behind a large order. Didnt have the time to wait, so decided to bail. Just as I was outside walking across the street, Maria was right behind me asking me what I wanted. I ordered a quick espresso and Crumb Cake which was amazing. Had both within 2 minutes and I was back on my way. I will be back again soon. Had no idea this hidden gem of a coffee shop was even there. Now that I do, it will be part of my visits to Chester. The people who live in town have the best place to go for coffee and treats. Thanks for chasing me down, would have never had the chance to experience your fabulous coffee shop..Love this place. :)
Just came in intending to get a drink and walked out with half the menu! We got an iced chai tea latte, blueberry coffee, iced pistachio latte, quiche, lemon poppy muffin, blueberry scone, and fresh watermelon. The menu is incredible and all of the food and drinks were excellent. Maria and her partner were so friendly and the shop was adorable. Will definitely be visiting again soon.
This is a cute little "country style "coffee shop... quaint ... you should definitely go if you are in the Chester,NJ area ... she has Fresh baked goods that she made & great coffee... you can sit out side... definitely check it out... I like this place alot
I got a vanilla caramel latte and my boyfriend got an frozen vanilla bean drink. Service was great and the drinks were delicious. There’s outdoor seating with occasional live music. This little spot is a must-try!
Just popped into Maria’s for the first time today and got a blueberry coffee. It was delicious and the coffee shop was so cute! Can’t wait to visit again when I’m in town.
Amazing homemade soups, sandwiches and baked goods. Popped in today and the Pasta, Peas & Onion with cheese soup was amazing. The crumb cake was also melt-in-my-mouth Divine.
They have excellent coffee and baked goods. I have personally never been disappointed with the service here. I have found the staff to be very friendly and the shop has an awesome vibe. I was fairly surprised to see so many negative comments regarding Maria, as I have only had positive encounters with her.
Everything is always absolutely delicious. Great atmosphere. Fantastic drinks. Decent prices and all extremely high quality products. Some out door seating as well. I recommend it!!!!
Wow!! Who needs Starbucks when you have Maria’s?! Not only is the coffee is amazing, but you have to try her pastries (especially the coffee crumble cake)! Delicious. Definitely my favorite place to come whenever I visit Chester, NJ. :)
Coffee was really good but the cakes and pastries were amazing.
