I arrange a work dinner at La Ferme every year for about 70-80 people (as well as other smaller luncheons and events) and it is always the best service, and the best food - we keep going back because they never disappoint - nothing but compliments from the guests! If I could go there everyday I would - this restaurant truly gives you a wonderful dining experience. Their staff always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. Thank you!!
Love this place ,the food and service is excellent including the ambience. The music (piano and the fireplace makes everything better) is relaxing. The noise level is very low. Just perfect for a quality quite dinner.
One of our favorites!!! Lovely atmosphere, food and wait staff are on point! Worth the drive from Annapolis!
Never disappointed with the excellent Thanksgiving menu. We had snails, turkey, clams, sole! All exquisite. The desert was a pleasure to the palate: pecan pie. The ambiance is warm, the service is excellent, it reminds me French culture where once takes time to enjoy a fabulous meal.
I hosted a luncheon party for a significant birthday I just celebrated. Every aspect of this event was exquisite! The staff was amazing in their graciousness and attention to detail - Thank you, Prasad and Guillaume! The 3-course luncheon menu allowed me numerous options from which to choose and to allow for choice for my guests. Everyone raved about the appetizers, entrees and desserts! My mesculin salad, broiled salmon and poached pear au caramel were out of this world! The ambiance was perfect since we were the only guests in the restaurant! I will be back very soon and cannot recommend La Ferme highly enough!
We had a wonderful anniversary celebration. The risotto lobster was superb. My husband had the NY steak that was also delicious. Service was great. We will go back again for special occasion
This is a great place - elegant atmosphere, great wait staff, the food is fantastic, and it is professionally managed.
Amazing place super be food and service !
I had the best venaison ever..the sauce was amazing
Thank you for a wonderful evening
Le Ferme is my favorite restaurant to go to for dining...not eating out. The food is always prepared to perfection and the servers are knowledgeable, experienced waitresses/waiters who are very good at what they do. I'd 100% recommend LeFerme. (I'm thrilled they chose to participate in Restaurant Week.)
Magnificent atmosphere. The Trout wasn't at it's best but the service was exceptional. The dining manager came to greet us and thanked us for coming. I will dine again soon.
The atmosphere at LevFemme was quaint and perfect for my Birthday dinner. The potato crusted Salmon was excellent. The service was superb and my birthday soufflé was a perfect end to a lovely day👍🏾👍🏾
La Ferme is amazing never tasted food quite like it! The service is impeccable you will not be disappointed.
Great place to celebrate your birthday! Vive la France!
Great meal and great experience! I will certainly visit again.

My husband and I picked this restaurant to be our wedding party. Foods are amazing. Everybody said it was one of the best wedding they ever attended. Friendly staffs. We just went to celebrate our 1st anniversary yesterday! Highly recommended!
Great food and atmosphere. However, the French bread is really too hard to bite. Most part of bread is outside hard shell, and there is almost no soft part even inside. These hard part would harm the teeth, especialy I saw most customers are older people. If you could make better bread (other restaurants made crispy and bitable French bread well), it would not waste so much. See the photo.
La Ferme Restaurant is located in a residential neighborhood, with dark and narrow streets, hard to find without Google Maps at night. There are plenty of parking spaces on the side and back. Not much change since we were there in more than fifteen years, old school with piano music. My favorite appetizers are the Oyster Stew with bacon, leeks and potatoes, and the Escargots. The Calf Liver and Chateaubriand are our favorite entrees, and the Poached Pear with vanilla ice cream is the best dessert.
Sweetbreads are wonderful. Grand Marnier crepes are a bit skint on the liqueur, but well cooked. Service is impeccable.
What a nice place. Great food and service in a beautiful atmosphere.
My wife usually isn't anxious to return to any restaurant soon after we visit, but La Ferme is an exception.
Started with a French onion soup and an endive salad. Both amazingly good.
I had the salmon and my wife had the liver. She said it was the best liver she's ever had. The salmon was perfectly cooked and so good.
Dessert was a souffle and a piece of the chocolate and Grand Marnier mousse cake. we ordered dessert when we ordered our entrees since the souffles take time to make. Both excellent.
I can't recommend La Ferme enough.
Objectively five stars! Not like when you grade a good diner or pizza joint on a curve. Excellent variety of dishes. I had lamb, my friend had softshell crab. The lamb is flavorful, tender, and cut into perfectly sized slices. Accompanied by green beans and broiled tomatoes and zucchini. I had never tried softshell crab before. Wowww. This is the place to get introduced to that dish! Now that I know how it should taste, I am a fan.
Wonderful atmosphere, ambiance, and food. I can't believe I didn't know about this place until now. My only complaint was the service. It seemed like most of the customers were "regulars" so they got all the attention from the waiters. Do yourself a favor and order the chocolate souffle. It was amazing. I'm normally underwhelmed by desserts, but this was absolutely delicious. It takes a while to prepare so you have to order the souffle when you order your main entree. Definitely worth it!
We went for our Valentine's dinner. It's a really good place for a date if you want a wonderful meal and excellent service. I'm pretty sure you'll be happy with anything you get here because it is all excellent quality. Also don't forget to order the souffle when you order your entree. It's a must have when you go. I had the hazelnut souffle and I couldn't have been more pleased.
Beautiful restaurant with excellent white glove service. Has both, outdoor and indoor seating areas. Menu is limited but covered salads to burgers. Food was properly prepared and was rich in flavours. They had a very good wine selection, even my favorite - Porto. The souffle alone is worth a visit, just remember to order the souffle early, takes 30 min to cook. I also enjoyed a season dish, cream if pumpkin soup which was heavenly.
We had our wedding here in 1990! It was perfect. The food was actually amazing and it didn’t feel like “wedding” food. We try to go back whenever we are in town (about once a year) and are never disappointed. The quality of the food, the charming atmosphere and the service are still excellent!
Filet mignon and the chicken were both cooked to perfection, super tender and flavorful! The atmosphere was cute. A tad expensive but that’s what you get with French restaurants sometimes.
Wow what a romantic restaurant ❤️ they had a piano player, cozy fire going and secluded balcony dining. The scallop appetizer, trout amandine and the chocolate soufflé were delicious. The pink love cocktail was nice as well. I'd love to come back next time I'm near DC. Parking was no issue due to their large lot. The service was how I like it. They don't bother you the whole meal but they do check in and refill waters.
La Ferme was the perfect location for hosting my sister's Baby Shower. The event manager, Prasad, was timely and detailed in his communication. The space was beautiful, the food was great and the service was awesome. Thanks for helping us to bring this event together!
La Ferme is a very nice restaurant where you should go when in the mood to get dressed for dinner and linger over drinks while listening to the live piano. It is not a family place (oops, we should have read up before bringing our 5 year old who, fortunately was well-behaved). Also, if you are under 65, you will likely be the youngest people in the room.
The food is decadent French, rich, with wonderful sauces. We liked everything we had very much. The portions are right and flavors well-balanced. The souffles are worth the wait - especially the Grand Marnier one, which is perfect. Really sublime.
Two areas left something to be desired... The first was the wine. Typically a glass of Sancerre transports to Heaven (especially at the high price!) This one was just pretty good. The Cabernet Sauvignon was also fine but not great. With so many fantastic wines out there, it was disappointing to be underwhelmed. Also, our waiter, after taking our initial order, basically ignored us. Maybe it's because he figured out we weren't the people who were going to order cocktails, an expensive bottle of wine, and after dinner drinks like so many around us seemed to be, but it's not like we ordered fries and a green salad. We spent over $200 for 3 people. Other servers helped us out, but it was not pleasant to be ignored.
Otherwise, the ambiance was lovely, the pianist charming, and we had a very nice time.
Food is excellent. Get the french onion soup and the foie gras. Cesar, scallops and veal. Service never disappoints. It has been on Brookville road for longer than I can remember. Go and make reservations. They will play happy birthday on piano and the whole restaurant sang. Wonderful.
The food and ambiance are really great however the service is sub-par unfortunately.
When we walked in the host kept talking to someone else for awhile before they even said Hi to us. It took about 15 minutes before anyone came over to take our order and when she did she didn't even introduce herself or talk about the menu at all, she just said, "hi do you want something to drink?" And all at that moment also asked what our entrees and desserts were gonna be. And we didn't even know if we wanted dessert yet because we hadn't even gotten our appetizers so why was she asking that. But I do appreciate that she let us know that if we wanted a Souffle that it would take about 30 minutes that way we could time that order accordingly. I asked for a dessert menu so I could decide, instead she just recited the whole dessert menu, as if I'm going to remember everything, and told me that it's all gonna be listed on there anyway as if I didn't need a menu and so I asked for it again and she finally had someone bring it.
But it's like every time she came over, it took like 20-30. Us and everyone else next to us were waiting far too long and we all agreed. So all in all, the food was great, customer service was Not.
the best French restaurant inside the beltway. Always bustling not with tourists but with real locals. On a typical night you’ll hear Happy Birthday played half a dozen times by the live pianist on the floor. Francophone staff adds to the authenticity of the service and the meals served. Staff will recommend certain items to be ordered early on to ensure their readiness by the time we are ready. Excellent all around. One can see why the restaurant needs no large street level signs to entice further business.
Beautiful location. The food was good, just experienced some issues with steak temperature. The service was a bit slow. Overall it's a great location and pretty place.
