As soon as we got engaged, I knew that I wanted Molly's to be a part of our special day. Not only are they my favorite cupcakes in Chicago, but they are also one of the very first dates my now husband and I went on. From the minute we reached out, Yaritza was an absolute dream to work with. Courteous and responsive, she answered all of my questions about quantities, flavors and dietary restrictions with ease and grace. Our tasting was wonderful and Yaritza asked great questions about our catering setup and menu, so that we made choices that paired will with our overall menu and so that the frosting wouldn't melt in the unrefrigerated ballroom. When I sent a last minute panicked email about a guest's nut allergy she responded almost immediately to assuage my anxiety. They did all of the setup, and the dessert table looked beautiful. We opted for mini-cupcakes because we wanted our wedding guests to be able to try multiple combinations of cake and frosting. I'm so happy that we went this route! Even now, several weeks after our wedding, guests are STILL complimenting us about how good the cupcakes were. They were such a hit that there was not a single cupcake left at the end of the night. If you're looking for a fun, delicious dessert choice I'd highly recommend going with Molly's!
My wife and I are so happy with our decision to go with Molly's Cupcakes for our wedding cake! We had three separate tiers, with different frosting between each layer. Our cake testing made it extremely easy to pick our favorite flavors and we loved the ability to mix and match cake types and frostings to make the perfect cake for us! Delivery was seamless and the cake looked incredible. Not to mention, DELICIOUS, and very competitively priced! Overall, we highly recommend Molly's Cupcakes for your wedding!
SERIOUSLY THE BEST CUPCAKE I EVER HAD! I had the Cookie Monster Cupcake. It seriously melted in my mouth. I can’t wait to try different varieties. I will try the candy bar next time! To be continued…
The cupcakes are phonemal and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. We ordered a box of mini cupcakes as well as a 6 center filled variety cupcakes. They were some of the most delicious cupcakes we've ever had. Can't recommend this place enough!
Awesome place for kids to have cupcakes and little snacks. Kids really love it. The swings by the bar are very entertaining for the kids while eating their cupcakes.
The staff are very laidback and cool. Very city slicker style, so, you may not have the service you may get out in the burbs out side of the city.
The only down side is parking. If you are not local and cannot walk to this store during busy moments - you will be circling around the blocks looking to park your vehicle for a long time resulting for the kids to go insane in the car. Though, the parking situation os not the store’s fault.
I highly recommend to visit this store if you would like to treat yourself and specially your kids while in the city.
Amazing cupcakes! Tasted 5 different cupcakes for a wedding tasting and every cupcake was fantastic. The wedding planner for Molly's was great! They have SO many flavors to choose from, it's hard to decide, because they are ALL so good!
Molly’s has been my go to cupcake place for years, so I went there first when considering cake for my wedding. They did not disappoint. Their wedding coordinator, Yaritza, was so knowledgeable and easy to work with! She even made sure we had a single gluten free cupcake for one of our guests! The cake tasting was super fun and the cupcakes and cake day of were perfection! I highly recommend working with Molly’s for your wedding or next event!
Words cannot express how much I love Molly's Cupcakes!! I had them cater my wedding and literally everything came out perfect! The communication with staff over the cake designs we wonderful and everyone was seriously so kind. We had a variety of cupcakes and a two tier cake. Everything was delicious and our guests couldn't stop raving about them even weeks after the wedding! Thank you so much for helping to make our special day even more perfect than I could have imagined! :)
These folks make the most awesome cupcakes. We tried a peach cupcake and a chocolate peanut butter thing that were incredible. The store was impeccably clean and pleasant.
Lots of neighborhood families visiting in the weekend plus tourists (like myself, lol). Super quaint area of you want to eat in a park
Ordered a cupcake for me and my wife + a four cupcake birthday package.
My wife liked her one but I thought my chocolate one was just okay 🤷♂️.
Regarding the cupcakes in the birthday package, 2 of them unfortunately were turned during the delivery and looked a bit disappointing. I assume it's mostly the delivery guy's fault, but Molly's Cupcakes could/can get more secure containers for their delicate cupcakes.
