Great atmosphere and decent food. I deducted one star because it took an hour for the food to come out (we came at 5pm). The portion is a bit small so make sure you either get an appetizer or fill up on bread (the dipping was quiet good).

Like swallows to Capistrano (chimneys) ... I come back to this place every year when in Chicago. As of October 2018, Tammy will have been at T10 23 years. That should tell you everything you need to know about the place. As the person orchestrating your dinner and wine, she is phenomenal. Read all of the reviews. Not much that hasn’t been well said. The place is great. Here’s my perfect solo dinner in the main dining room - two half plates of their hand made pasta. Glasses of Multepulciano. Gelato. The bar is wonderful if you are a party of two and can get a coveted table there. But you will not get Tammy - so, a trade off.

Lovely service and very well-crafted food; I would absolutely come back. Beet terrine salad was excellent; cooked perfectly and the fava bean garnish played very well both from flavor and textural perspectives. Shrimp ravioli with the salmon roe garnish was inspired; the pop of brine offset the buttery sauce very well. Profiteroles with gelato and Valhrona sauce was fabulous for the two bites I managed. I very much appreciate that they offer two sizes for many of the entrees and desserts, which minimizes potential food waste.

Wonderful meal! cocktail with pear and vodka light and refreshing. Lobster ravioli- handmade ravioli with huge pieces of lobster as well as claw meat. The sauce was crazy good! Bread before/with was crusty in outside soft inside with a spread- nice to have something different than butter! Service great, and atmosphere cozily elegant. Highly recommend!

I have eaten Italian food all over the United States and in Italy. This place is the real deal. Full of old world charm and great service I had one of the best meals I have ever had here.

If you go here you have to get the ravioli. Definitely some of the best in the whole city. I love the butternut squash ravioli. In the heart of Chicago theater district it’s a great place to eat before catching a show. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor and has a very nice ambience. This is a great Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Chicago.

Service was fantastic. Food was wonderful. I had their specialty, butternut ravioli, and enjoyed every bit of it. My very picky husband had the sausage anolini and cleaned his plate. The cheese plate was great to share with six people - each tiny bite packed a punch of flavor. We came for my daughter's birthday (she had the Whitefish and said it was the best she'd ever had) and they kindly brought her dessert with "happy birthday" written in chocolate and a candle atop her chocolate cake. My only slight negative would be that I tasted my other daughter's garganelli and thought the sauce too syrupy. She loved it though.

A true hidden gem, this atmospheric underground Italian restaurant serves up the best contemporary food Chicago has to offer, for a true excellent dining experience. Absolutely recommend the squash ravioli and the lake superior fish. Do take a bottle of pinot grigio. Amazing experience overall.

The seared duck breast was prepared to perfection. The sweet and sour of the squash and cranberries played delightfully on the pallet. The chocolate cake was also cooked to perfection.

Excellent all around. Server was incredibly helpful and our food was exceptional. Their gluten free options are top shelf and my wife loved it. Couldn't believe they even brought us gluten free bread. Lobster Ravioli was delicious and perfectly rich without feeling too heavy.

Nice dining experience. Service was great, we weren't even going to a show and we were served just as everyone else. Scallops were delicious, melt in your mouth. Lobster ravioli, lobster was good but the ravioli was a little under cooked. Had a great bottle of wine. Definitely agree that there needs to be some lite music but the train shook things up nicely. Looking forward to coming back.

This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the city. The pasta is made fresh every day and it shows. The butternut and acorn squash ravioli is probably their signature dish, and it's genuinely one of the best dishes I've had anywhere. Sweet & savory, tender & crunchy, it just tastes amazing. The gnocchi appetizer is also just so delicious. The service is always great, and I have never had a bad experience here. I love Trattoria no. 10.
