I was in town on business and decided to have dinner at Rosebud. From the minute you enter and are greeted by the professional Maitre’d to the last minute your there, you will be treated perfectly. The food is next level. A traditional steak house using quality meats and fish. The flavor and temp of all the dishes was perfect. We had the lobster with garlic butter and cheese appetizer and it was spectacular. Don’t forget the desserts that are home made and delectable.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best I have been at in my entire life. Whether you are going on a romantic date or celebrating a birthday with your loud family, Rosebud on Rush is definitely an option that is never wrong! The service from the start was excellent with the hosts being very communicative and working well as a team! The servers are also amazing at their jobs. Our server for the night was Andres. He had a fantastic personality and was excellent at giving recommendations and telling us the daily specials. The food was phenomenal. My partner and I started off with Lamb Chop Lollipops. The flavor was very sweet and good! To drink we got the Italian Moscato. I am not a fan of white wine, however this Moscato was so good that I ended up buying a bottle of it. It was very sweet as well! For the entrees, I got the special which was the Filet Ribeye and my partner got the Chicken Milanese! Both entrees were delicious. The sauce for the Filet Ribeye worked very well with the meat. Perfect pairing! After dinner I had the Cappuccino. If you are looking for a wet cappuccino this is the perfect place to get one. However, if you want foam do not expect to receive it exactly the way you’d like it. The cappuccino I would say is more like a latte, although it is still good. All in all I will definitely be returning to this restaurant.

Wonderful staff and food! Way more elegant at dinner vs lunch. We prefer to sit downstairs as the upstairs chairs are very hard. Nice wine selection with a generous pour. Great minestrone soup. Amazing Baked Cavatelli. Very large portions. We never get dessert but scraped the plate with a chocolate mouse with a coconut layer with chocolate and carmel swirls as decoration on the plate (see the picture - I don’t remember the name). Good thing we walked back to the hotel! It was so good we went back for lunch a few days later.

Our group went there for brunch that they have between 10am-2pm and ate on the outside patio. The whole experience was nice with good friendly waitstaff and the food was great. I got the bananas foster French toast and would highly suggest it, it was very good. The picture I have is after I ate some of it I couldn't resist and it was an afterthought.

When you’re a solo female traveler, eating out can be a bit of a challenge as the portions are usually large which doesn’t afford one much belly space to enjoy an array of delectables on the menu. In my opinion, it’s a huge miss by restaurants as I know many female solo travelers with a foodie pallet who don’t want to be wasteful and who want to enjoy small portions without expanding one’s waistline. Cali, my server, was exceptional. Her fellow bus persons had perfect timing and I wanted for nothing nor had to ask. I was fortunate to secure a table for one facing the bustling street where I started with a chilled sparking Rosé. I selected the Eggplant Stack (a light salad akin to the heavy, but also delicious Eggplant Parmesan, save for the sauce and add arugula). Cali ordered one meatball with red sauce and the perfect Malbec to marry with the meat and sauce. It was the perfect meal for one with all of the delights to bring my trip to close. I finished with a dopio espresso and Bailey’s, the perfect dessert for the non dessert eater. I highly recommend a visit here for all my female solo travelers looking for “our place”. It’s incredible and you’ll walk away satiated, smiling, and still snatched in the waistline.

Great service, great atmosphere and amazing, flavorful shrimp risotto! I do think it's pricey and our small group of 4 was annoyed about the surcharge that's just added *because*, and if you gripe about it you're a jerk, but overall, the entire experience was probably worth it. Look at that gorgeous (gluten free) risotto! The lemon is wrapped in tulle, so you can squeeze it without seeds going everywhere.

This is an amazing spot for locals and visitors. To me, everything screams old-school Italian, from the menu to the atmosphere - and that's not saying things are out dated; everything is slick and trendy. The service is 5 star, really great! You feel taken care of by every member of the staff! I wish every restaurant had this level of care. The food was amazing, real Italian dishes cooked well and served with class and appeal - it's always nice when a restaurant spends a little extra on plating, something special when the flavours match the appearance!

We visited this restaurant back in 2020 and had to eat outside on their enclosed patio during the winter, so it was nice to experience the inside of the restaurant during this visit to Chicago. The portions have definitely grown since we visited in 2020! My husband ordered the Chicken Parmesan both times and the portion he got last night was about 3 times the size it was last time. My baked cavatelli was also enough to share with another person. Food and service were good overall. Not exceptional, as that is what I reserve a 5 star review for, but good overall. We would definitely visit this restaurant again.

Fun, as advertised Italian classic steakhouse. Reasonable wine list and food menu has something for everyone. Veal parmigana was large enough for two or three people. There is staff everywhere, no need to look for anyone. Waters were filled after one sip. Wine poured like rivers. Prompt ticket times too. Service was excellent too. It is a pleasure to see customer service not extinct. Won't be winning any James Beard award anytime soon, but not many vetos.

My wife and I were really impressed with this place. I ordered the Meat Lasagna, my wife got the Short Rib & Polenta, and then we shared a Tiramisu for dessert. There was also bread with oil for dipping. Everything was delicious, especially the Short Rib & Polenta. The portions were big, too. The waitstaff was fast and friendly. You definitely get your money's worth here.

The Chopped salad is large enough for a family of 6. The picture of the salad is after we had already filled up on it! (Excellent salad) Onto the entree, the very best Chicken Parmesan I’ve ever eaten. Again, it’s large enough for a family of 6. Four very large chicken pieces w homemade marinara and fresh mozzarella! Excellent service and even better food.

Fast and friendly service. Solid food on the simpler side of options. I enjoyed my meatball and spaghetti. My husband felt that his eggs Benedict was a little bland.

We arrived at Rosebud with a party of 9 and they were able to accommodate us within 5 minutes without reservations (off to a good start). We had a server named Teddy, he was very friendly, he can come across a little strong, he was very direct (if not your cup of tea, you might want to ask for another server), very prompt, attentive and we were very pleased as he made us laugh and made our night entertaining. Our food was tasty and very large portions. The service was prompt and my cup of water was never empty. We ordered some beverages (beer and mixed drinks) all very cold and well made drinks. Overall, we were very impressed by the whole atmosphere, service and extremely satisfied with our experience from entering the door to our leaving the restaurant. Thank you for making it a good experience for our large party of 9.

I wanted a smooth flavorful dinner so I turned to my favorite dishes linguine and clam sauce. Aye Dios, justó lo que necesitaba! As I do, chatting with the bartender over digestivos, he suggested Tuaca and Amaro Nonino. Bartender Alejandro made me a fan off both now to add to my home bar. Excellent service. I have a new dig in River North.

Had a great evening at this true Italian Restaurant. Come with a big appetite as the portions are huge. You will definitely be taking some great Italian food home with you. Service was impressive and impeccable. Never had to ask for anything. Even water was full at all times. Our waiter, Andres (I hope I got that right) was fabulous. Highly recommend him, but from what I could tell all the waiter and waitress staff was exceptional. Highly recommend this if you are in Chicago near the Magnificent Mile area.

Well polished service, nice vibe, cool history. The cocktail was prepared well, the Minestrone was great, a larger potion than expected as well. The sausage in the baked ziti is very tasty. And I loved the Tiramisu.
