The service was wonderful and the entire meal was great. I especially enjoyed the croquettes and the paella noir! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal with Mediterranean flare!

Delicious food! I had the lamb chops and my mom had the salmon. We loved our server Danilo! The peach sangria and chocolate obsession were so yummy! My mom and I went in New York for our first time and when we found out there was one here we were so excited. The decor is much prettier here. It was a lovely time. ☺️

Atmosphere was calm, clean & peaceful. Our waiter was Charlie who had a great positive personality. Provided an explanation of the menu and made some good recommendations. The absolute best truffle mushrooms I have ever had. Wonderful experience. Highly recommend.

Let me tell you about this restaurant I visited recently. The waitress was so polite and attentive that I almost forgot I was there for the food and not a therapy session. Thank you Darcy for being extremely nice and attentive to my needs. Now, let's talk about the food. The food was fantastic and delicious. Five stars for great food, fantastic service, and for making me feel like the star of my own food show!

Fig & Olive is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious cocktails and food. Their menu options are plentiful, making it an excellent choice for lunch or dinner. I first visited the New York location and was blown away by the experience. I'm so happy that we now have one in Chicago. I highly recommend it.

Hands down amazing! If you have not eaten here then you are insane. From the food to the atmosphere to the service to the martinis to the wine, everything was amazing! This is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. It is an easy walk from the Old Town/Gold Coast neighborhoods. I have been living in Chicago for 22 years and selling real estate for 17 years and this is still one of the best restaurants in the city that I have tried. Go enjoy it!

Great vibes and food is fantastic. We ordered 6 dishes and they were all delicious, so 5 stars on food and plating Cocktails were amazing as well - 5 stars The restaurant is very pretty, cool bar and comfortable - 5 stars Only issue I will bring up is from a Service perspective, the hostess that was standing right by the elevator basically ignored us, we walked out and I staring right at her and we were 6 feet from her and she did t greet us or welcome us or direct us to check in which to me was kinda hidden when you walk out of the elevator. In addition my wife ordered a cocktail which came after we were done with dinner. Perhaps it was just a off night, we will definitely try fig & olive again and see how it goes

Had an amazing Saturday evening out! The food was delicious, the ambience inviting, and the customer service was impeccable — all deserving of a five-star rating. The DJ was awesome, setting the perfect mood with great music. Definitely a night to remember!

Fig & Olive was AMAZING, and this is coming from someone who’s not a big fan of Mediterranean ‘cooking’. The salads were simply stunning, unbelievable artistry of flavour, texture and interpretation. They’re now on my list of Chicago favourites & you must go

The ambiance here is truly best in class - a lot of attention was paid to creating a subtle, sharp, but warm style of lighting, the design of the space is similarly well constructed, with large seating areas that have likewise large amount of space for walking and traversing around the bar. The central bar location draws the eye and exudes a sense of energy. Wide range of Mediterranean cuisine, along with great bar food like truffle fries, which were absolutely soaked in delicious truffle oil. The side of rainbow carrots and sweet potatoes was my other favorite. I hope to do the dinner portion with hummus and pomegranates next time. Artistic presentation and style as well. Drinks were another highlight, the Tres Serieux was essentially an orange-apricot forward Old Fashioned with a great complexity of flavor and strength. Wine prices were reasonable and ended up getting a bottle of Rose with my date as well. Service was another high point and reason to come. I had made reservations but ended up sitting at the bar and the host, Armani came to check if we were okay where we were. Mileena, our bartender was engaging, funny and had a great sense of presence. Offered great suggestions and had a strong sense of authenticity.

We had a delightful brunch. From the hostess to our waitress to the bus staff - everyone was delightful. Even better, the food was beautifully presented and delicious. I can't wait to bring my partner back for dinner one evening soon.

Always a good time at the Fig! I've now been here twice and both times the food did not disappoint. I would definitely advise sampling the different crostini (skip the one that features peas), the cheese board, and the provence chicken dish. The first time I visited the service was spot on. The second time I visited it was not. The waiter was all over the place, didn't follow up at all, and we were not thanked for coming in as we left. Decor is stunning. French country meets mid century modern. Very unique, elegant, and well played considering the location on Oak Street. I think the price point is totally fair for the quality of food! I hear their happy hour is quite impressive (half priced crostini?!) so If I do come back, it'll be for HH.

Great service, delicious food, and well-crafted cocktails. The music choice really elevated the vibe. Elegant, but fun.

Flavours are bold and intense. Your mouth will really wake up when you eat their food. The branzino was very colorful with contrasting flavours of savory and sourness. It can be a but much from the richness of the mushroom croquettes but they are perfect to share.

We loved everything except one dish. That one dish was the paella.

The atmosphere was lovely. The restaurant was quiet enough I could have a conversation and the staff was lovely and tended to all of our needs, and even anticipated wants we didn’t even know we had! The food was exceptional, we tried the crostini, the Lamb sirloin and Salmon and all three were delightful. Katelyn, the general manager, checked in on us after our meal and after hearing about how much we loved the crostini, kindly gave us a coupon for an appetizer on our next visit. A great little gem off the main drag in Chicago’s Gold Coast. Would absolutely recommend to anyone who wants to have some incredible food and an incredible experience in a beautiful restaurant!
