First of all, the customer service at this place is unbelievably exceptional. Every business trip to Chicago, and I have to come back for that Amish Chicken dish!! Desserts are as top notch as the servers, managers and hosts. Well worth every penny.

The new mushroom risotto was excellent, especially to stay warm on a chilly fall night. An excellent meal paired with a friendly staff and warm environment is going to keep me coming back!

By far one of my favorite restaurants in Chicago. The food is always delicious with a lot of great choices, and the service is phenomenal! Perfect for a low key date night.

Had Sunday brunch here around 2pm. The food and service were very good. Tried the monkey bread and duck fat fries after reading other reviews and YUM! A couple of criticisms... The duck farfalle was very small (and very salty) . I was glad we ordered other things to share. They were out of a couple of dishes, but seeing as it was 2pm that wasn't too surprising. Overall we really enjoyed it and would return.

Went during Restaurant Week and we found the food fresh and light despite the quantity of food! From my apple salad to the Basque cake, it hit the right note. We will be back to try other parts of the menu.

We shared 4 brunch items and all were excellent. Large portions, no one's going home hungry. I had the Benedict, the highlight of which was the potatoes 🥔. Chicken 🍗 and biscuits also delivered. Even the pancakes were interesting.

Incredible experience. The waitress we had was super friendly, really descriptive/knowledgeable about the drink selection and menu, and awesome to chat with. The food and overall hospitality of the chefs was amazing - Larry, Jeff, and team pumped out dish after perfectly plated dish. Had about 10 dishes and loved everything they put out. Overall wonderful evening, and I’ll be back again soon for the next season’s menu!

One of our favorite restaurants in the city! We discovered it during restaurant week and was blown away by the quality of the food. Recently went back and still wowed by the food, beautiful presentation, excellent execution and inventive flavor combinations. Service was spot on as well. Wish it were closer to our neighborhood but the good thing is we’ve always found parking right in front of restaurant.

An overall solid set dinner, with an especially good value (8 courses for only $125). My favorites of the savory dishes were the scallops and the duck breast - both were perfectly cooked and absolutely delicious. The highlight of the meal, however, was dessert, which was an eclectic mix of flavors.

Great food and great atmosphere! Party of 4 and we opted for a la carte menu instead of tasting and was very satisfied! Everyone was friendly and very attentive. Only downside I can think of were the drinks. Wine and cocktail were all very expensive, even by chicago standards. And no beer on tap.

I loved the Bristol. The menu was curated correctly and the service was great. I think the price point is rather high and I'd have liked more menu options but it's a solid place.

Fantastic experience! We were a group of 5 on a girls’ night out and we all got the tasting menu. The service was great and we even got to meet the chef who came by to say hi! My favorite dish was definitely the fazzoletto pasta - so light and with a a subdued fragrance too, it was heavenly - not at all creamy/heavy at all. Our server (Murphy) was fantastic, he worked with the kitchen to help make sure we each had the duck cooked to the level of our satisfaction (as we all had different preferences when it came to how well done we liked our duck), and even helped customize our dessert experience which allowed us to try a sampling of 3-4 different desserts. Loved the desserts so much… the panna cotta was heavenly. Needlessly to say, all of us were nearing a happy food coma at the end.

Beautifully designed autumn tasting menu. Very good explanations with wine pairings. Each course had many ingredients that harmonized together very well. Can't wait to come back and try the winter menu.

Wow wow wow. This has been one of the best dinner experiences we have had in Chicago. We participated in the 8 course Autumn Harvest tasting menu along with the wine paring. Everything was truly perfect and delicious. The service was outstanding and the wine pairing was magnificent. Executive Chef Larry is truly talented. I couldn’t recommend this place enough!

BEST food we had while we were in Chicago! We are HUGE pasta fans and this place is impeccable! From the atmosphere, service, and to the food it knocked us off our chairs! Their creative B-side menu is a must try! One of us is not a fan of their star ingredients(🍄) for this month BUT it was so good we would have it 100X again! Thank you for such a yummy dinning experience we can’t wait to see you guys again!

Absolutely fantastic experience! Did the 8 course along with wine pairing for special occasion. Used OpenTable for reservation, which was seamless. All wait staff was great. The sommelier took the time to explain a few of the wine pairings. Zero complaints.
