Great spot for lunch with the family. We loved the atmosphere and all enjoyed our food and the service while dining on the main level for lunch. The upstairs looked lovely too but much more formal. We used the valet parking for $15 and walked the pier after lunch for some added fun. Certainly recommend Rivas!

I recommend going to the second floor and get a seat by the windows. The view if skyline and lake is amazing! Service was amazing and the food was perfect from plating to taste. I have never had a better crab cake in my life and the Key Like pie was perfect!

Wow what an experience. They were fairly busy when we arrived and the hostess told us that it would be a ten to fifteen minute wait. The manager came up to us a minute later and said, "Come on guys, I can seat you right away". Drink service was incredibly fast, the wait staff was extremely attentive, and the food was excellent. Any time I come to Chicago from now on, Riva will be a guaranteed stop for me.

This restaurant is located in one of the major tourist attraction of Chicago ,the navy pier. You need to keep walking further in the Navy Pier to find it. Foods are good and fresh. Staffs are friendly and helpful. I would recommend this place to anyone especially who are visiting the Navy ‘s pier.

Riva Crab House never disappoints. The service was great. The crab cocktail and caprese salad were excellent. The swordfish and Chilean Seabass were phenomenal. If you plan to see a show Chicago Shakespeare Theater or visit Navy Pier, this restaurant is perfect.

Excellent service, amazing views and food! I visited for fourth of July, having a 9pm reservation we got sat enough time before the fireworks to get drinks and an appetizer started. Mostly unobstructed views even though are table was in a corner away from the window. I can’t complain! The restaurant had this down to a science. Once the show started the servers quickly ensured the blinds were up, lights got turned off, and they got out of the way. It was wonderful honestly. Once they ended they promptly got service going again. I would definitely recommend for fireworks at navy pier and great fresh seafood! Check out more food photos on ig: @whetyourappetites

Our group of 6 had lunch here. I had the clam chowder. Good flavour and texture. I tried the grilled calamari which is a tough dish to get right but it was good. A little pricey but seafood always is.

Great food! Great service! Got recommended to this restaurant twice in a day, so we decided to try it out. We sat on the 2nd floor with all glass windows overviewing the city and the water. It's has a great view! We had the clam chowder (a bit too salty for my taste, but still good). My husband had the shrimp cocktail, which he loved. For dinner he had the Halibut (a very good sized one!) And I had the crab cake (appetizer) and the Caprese salad. We were not dissapointed! If you're on Navy Pier and still want to eat at a nice restaurant I would really recommend Riva. PS: and they have WiFi for the ones with kids (Ipads to keep then entertained) or if you're visiting from abroad.

Excellent and attentive service. Pricey but there was an impeccable quality of food with a gorgeous view of the bay. Staff was wonderful and the vibe of the restaurant was pleasing. Had a great weekend experience and would make this a definite stop.

A great place to have lunch. The food is pretty delicious and inexpensive depending on what you order. We ordered burgers with fries. They seemed to be freshly prepared with your choice of cheese and toppings. The only negative thing was that they didn't ask how we want the burgers cooked. They came well done but not dry. The burger is $15. The seafood dishes are more expensive. The waiter was very attentive and friendly. Always asked if we need anything and provided refills. Riva has a nice patio with a view on the pier. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
