Newly reopened after an amazing updating and remodel, you will Love all Prosecco has to offer! From the minute we walked in the door and were nicely greeted, we knew if the food was even close to the gorgeous restaurant we had a new fave. Well the food (and drink- perfect martinis) was amazing!! Fresh cheese, farmers market tomatoes in our appetizer, we dined on dishes of scallops, eggplant and one of the most perfect pasta, I can still feel my mouth water at the thought of how delicious it was!!! Finished with house made Limoncello and felt we ate in heaven. Bravo!

Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants in the city or Chicago. We go there at least once a month for the best risotto and truffle pasta. I recommend this place to every one I come across.

In Chicago for work, met up with a couple of friends. Charles is a local there... and he chose this restaurant after watching the chef on TV. It was so exciting to meet the chef - and the food was amazing amazing amazing. Loved the atmosphere, top notch staff - loved my roasted chicken with sauce and fingerling potatoes! Raspberry sorbet was delicious too! Highly recommend this reataurant to anyone looking for a "Local" taste of deliciousness.

My Dad and I always love coming to eat here after seeing a stage performance(this time it was Hamilton). This place never disappoints, every bite is pure food perfection and the whole staff who is always friendly and knowledgeable. Thanks to all the hard working staff that puts together such a fine package that keeps us coming back time and again.

This is one of the best, most authentic Italian restaurants in the country. The food is made with the freshest ingredients, everything is prepared perfectly and served with pride. I've been there enough to have tried several menu items - nothing disappoints. Last night, I had a very simple pasta accented with a house made sausage sauce... just perfect. Thanks!

Omg... the have remodeled and updated the menu. ALL pasta is now made in house. You can tell it when you see it. When you taste it, it’s amazing. The food here has always been good, but they have kicked it up a notch.

Visiting from out of town and ate at Prosecco this evening. Food was delicious, especially the homemade pasta. There was a small issue with my dessert and the manager went above and beyond to fix it, with a free dessert and a limoncello on the house! I don't recall being treated so well in a restaurant before. Well done and thank you.

Amazing dinner restaurant, especially on NYE! Service was top notch, very attentive, engaging and perceptive server --good charisma too. The food was exquisite. The mussels ans escargot apps were favorite and the entres of zuppa de pesce and the carbonara with truffle were both phenomenal. Drinks of the espresso martini and Moscato were a great compliment to the meal. Ambiance was upscale, fancy, and professional. Only regret was not having time to order dessert!

Bellissimo! After living in Rome, Italy 🇮🇹 It’s hard to find true authentic Italian cuisine in America. Their food was spectacular. The service was phenomenal. They were very attentive to detailed and perfect. The ambience was romantic and sexy. Dimmed lighting gave a nice evening glow while watching the rain out the window. So Italian, the art is beautiful. Very Easily accessible by Uber, Taxi or Lyft, even trains or Buses since we don’t want to drive after we drink. Now let’s talk about the Old school soul Music. I walk in the Ladies room and there playing music from the 70’s Food perfectly cooked al dente. The seafood Pasta was delicious al dente. the Seafood was fresh Probably flown in from Naples, Italy? Tiramisu Yummy to my tummy. With such a large america portion we couldn’t finish our food so we had to 4 different To go bags. There where 5 different birthday celebrations on a Tue night April 4, We also has a Birthday for my Friend Michelle. Can’t wait to have mine for lunch tomorrow When everything taste better the next day. If you’re in the Downtown Chicago area please stop by, tell them Kymberly Traveler’s Review send you. I stay for hours after dinner while moving over to the bar for a night cap with the owners whom I had no idea was the owner. Sweet down to earth family. I enjoyed watching the Mayor’s Race Countdown. What a night. Ciao Buona, Kymberly

This place is considered one of the best restaurants by many people we know and trust so we were excited to try it for date night. FOOD: The food and drinks are worth it, very well executed. If the squash blossoms are on the specials menu, they are fantastic! And the orecchiette with truffle (tartufate) is absolutely the best pasta dish we've ever had! VIBE: The decor and ambiance is also top notch. Low light, modern furnishings, modern decor. SERVICE: The service had a few moments where it was a bit awkward. First, when we were greeted and seated by the hostess - she did inform us that there was a time limit on the table. I'm not sure if OpenTable can accommodate a notice or disclaimer but that would be good to know in advance instead of as soon as you are greeted. Second, the pace of our dinner felt stressful. The server reiterated the time limit which we did politely acknowledge and do our best to accommodate! Still felt rushed through the drinks, appetizers, and entrees to the point where we didn't even want to order dessert because we felt we were inconveniencing the staff and restaurant. This overshadowed our entire experience, we were constantly worried about our time limit instead of actually enjoy each other's company and the dinner. And when you're on a date, that's even more awkward. By the time we were done with our entrees, we had reached the time limit. Definitely no time for dessert or after-dinner drinks. I think our server felt the vibe and ended up feeling bad for us because he let off the pressure a bit and encouraged us to eat dessert (we were going to skip it), saying "take your time." Which was nice but it was at the end of our meal. At that point, we quickly scarfed down dessert, paid our bill and left. Overall, we would still return for the food but definitely plan accordingly if you have a large group or maybe like to conversate over dinner that this time limit is a thing.

Food was incredible! We had the ribeye, which was cooked to perfection, paired with the cavatelli noodles bursting with flavor and a side of the serviceable fingerling potatoes. The apple pie with ice cream was a 10/10. Our waiter was very helpful with his food suggestions being it was our first time at Prosecco. We were unable to try most of their drinks because it was being renovated. The margarita and Moscow mule we settled for were...not good. Great atmosphere that definitely felt very classy and high-end as Prosecco describes. While the wall art added to the Venetian ambiance, it was not as romantic an experience as described (and surprisingly quite noisy, to the dismay of another group there that actually told our waiter to turn it down, lol). I would come back and recommend to others! Two dishes and a side combined with two mixed drinks totaled to ~$209 with a 20% tip included.

I’ve been coming to Prosecco for years. The staff is always warm and inviting. The food is always fresh and hot. It’s a must if you are in from out of town or live in Chicago. The calabrese pasta, salmon, and zuppa di Pesce are my favorite.

Food and drinks were great! I like how they have appetizer portions for the pastas, so it gives us a chance to order multiple pastas to taste. Best one was the seafood linguini. Service was just okay. Appetizers came out quick, but the 3 pastas we ordered took some time. Overall a cool restaurant with a romantic ambience.
