It’s a good place for those who want to customize their stir fry experience by adding your own sauces and flavors and ingredients. The inside is lovely and you are able to choose separate meat or non meat in addition to adding all the Veges and ingredients that you like. You also have an option to choose a pre listed ready made dish by the kitchen. But I would say it’s more fun to add your own stuff and sauces. The food came out cooked well and hot and the server brings it to your table once you leave your bowl and sauces at the counter. The veges in the buffet style area were not super fresh but the variety was good as well as the sauces. You can add scrambled eggs or white cheese or extra bread to your dish for an extra $0.75 and they will add it for you when they cook your compilation. One piece of Roti bread comes w the $17.99 per person meal (the one you choose your own stuff). Overall a nice experience. The reason I give it 5/5 is solely because of the elevator that they have (!!! Great job) but as for the food … not all the veges were fresh and the bowl you add your veges to is very small so you can’t fit much in it (so add the sauces separately in plastic containers they give you on the side) and for this it’s $17.99 which I think is a bit pricey but it does include 2 meats which they add at the end separately and it was a decent amount). So enjoy! The wait staff were very nice and sweet. There is an elevator inside the restaurant as soon as you enter for about 3-4 steps, which is really fine for people who need assistance with wheelchairs, which I haven’t seen in most restaurants anywhere in the world.
Very good and flavourful Asian style food. Good vegetarian options. Friendly. Not much in terms of atmosphere. Reasonable prices.
Great place if you are ink Asian , Thai ; you can make your own bowl ; there are many sauce options available .
The regular menu is also good .
DO NOt order Skewers - They are Bland with not flavor.
You can go with family to have a nice dinner after downtown trip.

Good place for vegetarians to customize our own stirfry meal.
We came on a weekday afternoon about 4 pm. Mateo (our server) was very helpful in explaining the process for CYO Bowl. The items on the stirfry bar were all appealing and fresh. Sauces and toppings are clearly labeled for spiciness, as well as whether vegetarian.
We loved being able to choose from two kinds of noodles, quinoa, black beans, and edamame to be sure we had good proteins. We also paid $0.75 extra for cheese after it was grilled.
Served immediately; piping hot! Just the right size serving for us and packed with nutrition.
My only "beef" is that two proteins are added after you select your ingredients for your bowl. That's fine for meat eaters, but they don't offer tofu or anything plant-based as a final protein. So vegetarians pay the same price as meat eaters, but receive less overall. Why not have tofu as a "protein" option to finalize the dish since you have it elsewhere on the menu? Or at least not charge extra for egg and cheese if no other proteins were chosen?
Decided to go downtown for a bit to eat, was greeted by Allyson a few moments after being seated. She was fabulous, attentive, and quick to our requests! I ordered Chicken Ramen with Tonkotzu broth. Was flavorful and enjoyable. I wish I would have asked for a little spice, but alas, it was great nonetheless! Next time, I adventure back to Chicago and want some ramen. I will definitely be back!
Every thing was good didn’t really like the ramen as much. The drinks were good though. Will recommend to go but get the rice bowl and will recommend must get the dumplings. They were amazing

Didn't try their signature stir fries, which seem fun. The chicken was a bit dry and I expected a better selection of beers for this type of restaurant. The gyozas were nice. The dipping sauces were sweet. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the service is pretty fast.
former employee here - always my favorite place to go eat. I've had the pleasure of working with Juan & Rumaldo for years! Best work environment, best food, great drinks. Service is top notch and not just saying that cuz I worked there before. Great place to take the family & kids. Always a great meal & time!
Friendly staff and great food. I was skeptical about the price (and it could maybe still be brought down a bit), but pleasantly surprised at the large portion size. I made my own bowl with rice and ordered the skirt steak, potatoes, roasted red peppers, spinach, onions, and garlic. I was thoroughly satisfied with the quality and flavor of each ingredient, except for the potatoes, which I found to be lacking in flavor and slightly undercooked. The roti was wonderful! I ordered sauces on the side, and was glad for it after discovering how flavorful and spicy the bowl was on its own! Overall, it was a meal abundant in flavor and size. Everyone in my office marveled at how great it smelled!
The food was awesome! The place was super nice to eat at. But we were overcharged for our food. We ordered 2 unlimited bowls. We were charged for 3 bowls and extra roti. The server was nice but left us waiting longer than wanted.

Fill your bowl with an assortment of noodles, rice, vegetables, seasonings, and sauce. Take it to the grill and watch them cook your meal.
17.00 per adult and 8.00 for kids 10 and under, but beware unlimited is really not unlimited because each time you fill your bowl, you end up paying 6.00 for that refill. So by time you're on your second bowl, you really end up paying 23.00 plus tax a bowl.
They serve alcohol and non alcohol drinks. Commercial frozen style is not much alcohol and it is way too sweet to know if there is any alcohol in your drink. For 4 adults, 2 kids under 6 and 4 margaritas with our bowls, we ended up with a bill of 206.00
Was it worth it maybe, but maybe not since our server was slow and didn't even remember she had our table to take care of. We probably would have ordered another drink, but by the time she came around, we were just ready to leave.
Downtown parking was hard and it cost 17.00 for 2 hours.
I was in the downtown area and came across this restaurant. I didn’t know what exactly to order; however, my server, Allyson, suggested a couple items from the menu. Not only was the food delicious, but her hospitality to the restaurant was A1. She was patient with me and assured everything was set to my standards. She is very hardworking and you can tell she’s determined to make your visit at Flat Top Grill the best experience overall, i will definitely be coming back
Might just be my new favorite!! All the stars! The food is unbelievable and the new Poke tacos are to die for!! The people are incredibly kind. We have been here for Happy Hour and never had a chance to eat. Made a special effort to be here first thing when they opened before leaving town to make sure finally ate food. Juan, the regional manager, is the absolute best!!
I have a long-term love of Flat Top Grill. The selection of stir fry veggies is expansive and there are lots of sauce options for the stir fry. I appreciated the new ordering process where the meats are provided at the grill without the requirement of balancing another bowl as you prep your ingredients.
The food was really good. We enjoyed the staff. We received our food and drinks really fast. The food could have been seasoned more, and the drinks could have been stronger, but it wasn't that big of a deal. I would still recommend this place for everyone.
Allyson B was amazing. Very helpful. She made sure my brownie was warm. I came a while ago when I was pregnant specifically for the brownie and it came out cold I was so disappointed. I came back and gave it another try. Delicious! Everything was so good.
