The Texas cheese cake ice cream is really sweet for my taste. But the coffee with sugar and cream was just perfect. The price is not bad around $8.50 for two scoops in a waffle cone. The employee are really friendly and professional (I tasted like 3 different ice cream before choosing).
As a neighbor and a real luxury estate broker who sells homes in Southport Corridor, my family and I love Jeni’s! My children grew up enjoying her exotic and often colorful flavors. Our all time favorites include lemon buttermilk and wildbery lavender. Enjoy!🍦
An artisan icecream shop with many many options to choose from, anything from the most decadent flavor to the most refreshing one for not a small price. I tried wildberry lavender and rainbow buttermilk frozen yogurt and coffee coconut. All were good and I can’t wait to go back for a special treat!
VERY good ice cream. Not overly sweet, good variety and creamy. I had the upsidedown pineapple cake and butter cream almond toffee. You can taste the freshness. It's pretty pricey for ice cream is all I would say as a negative. A little over $6 for 2 small scoops.
I have been going to this certain Jeni’s since I was a little kid. And by far it is one of the best ice cream shops I have been to. The flavors will make your mouth water (very delicious.) The staff is always very kind and welcoming. They have never gotten one of our orders wrong. They have options for everyone as well. They tend to come up with the most unique flavors and can make them taste so good. Some of the best flavors that I recommend are Wildberry Lavender, Salted Peanut Butter with chocolate flecks, bramble berry crisp. To me Jeni’s is right up there with Ben and Jerry’s ice cream, and possibly even better. Their pints can last more than 2 weeks in a freezer and still when you open it up will still taste just like it did when you got it. Recommend for people visiting and for locals!
I I would have never found this amazing ice cream place if I hadn’t visited Chicago. I love the chain, and the unique flavors. Their service is really nice, and the place is well decorated. They have a lot of variety in flavors and that topping options. Their salted butter waffle cone is amazing. I tired the Thai spiced version with coconut - really nice. Their double chocolate and salted peanut butter is the best though. They also have a few accessories and memorabilia that you can buy from the store. The seating is kind a limited but they have a group seating too.
Jeni's Ice Cream is a true delight! Their unique flavors are a taste sensation. The ice cream's texture is incredibly creamy and smooth. Each scoop feels like a little moment of happiness. The shop's ambiance is welcoming and inviting. I love their commitment to using high-quality and ethically sourced ingredients. It's a must-visit for any ice cream lover. Jeni's has earned its reputation for excellence, and I'll definitely be back for more!
I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream 🤣🤣🤣
jeni's ice cream of course!
We finally made it to Jeni's Ice Cream and what a treat it was.
We loved everything about the ice cream from the texture to the flavor and the longer lasting melting time.
We ordered a scoop of Darkest Chocolate and Pineapple Upside Down Cake ice cream. Both were delicious.
If you've never tried jeni's ice cream, you really should, just make sure you take the time to savor the fragrance and flavor of the ice cream.
We loved it so much we each took a pint home with us.
Love the ice cream here! The unique flavors and combinations.
I don't know if it's only this location or bc of the pandemic, but other locations used to provide dried ice if you bought pints to take home.
Allie and Ty y'all were the best customer service people ever! I loved that you gave recommendations! I will be coming in often from now on! I'm the guy that came in really hype that night
Ordered the Gooey Butter Cake and Brambleberry ice cream. The Gooey Butter Cake was one of the best ice creams I have ever had in my life. My date got the Wedding Cake, Almond Brittle and Wildberry Lavender. She didn't like the Wildberry so she Karen-ed it and got a new flavor lol.
There is something for everyone at Jeni's. They have inventive seasonal flavors, tried and true favorites, and even delicious sorbets for those that cannot have dairy. Plus, ordering is a breeze with their 2 half scoops for $5. The perfect amount of ice cream for any time of the day.
The only downside is that this specific location has only one small upholstered seating area that is low. If you're visiting with small children that cannot safely sit at bar height, and that area is taken, you may have to stand or take your ice cream to go.
Not thing makes me happier than a scoop of delicious rich ice cream that is smiling back at me! Such incredible thoughtful flavor combinations sure to please every flavor palette young and old! This is a must have whenever I am in the area! It's worth the price tag. 2 scoops was about $10.
I always wondered why are they open here until late at night, until I had to respond to my cravings out of the sudden at 10pm as well. And I loved it. Wide selection of vegan, non-dairy ice creams as well, that made me very happy!

I don't always eat ice cream but when I do, I prefer Jeni's...in a waffle cone or bowl.
Such a great spot. The Lavendar and Crisp flavor combo is perfection 🥰
Great spot for phenomenal ice cream in unique flavors for dine-in, to-go or even have it shipped to your home! They also have great dairy free options for those lactose intolerant. Friendly staff and they encourage sampling.
Also, super convenient that it's located right under the train station.
Really good ice cream - I appreciate the multiple dairy-free options they have AND that they taste so authentic! The waffle bowl was really good, too!
