Club Lucky is one of my go-to places for meeting up with friends, new and old, lunch or dinner. They have a large dining room but you can find super cozy spots or opt for booth seating in the bar area up front. The food has always been consistently good and the Martinis always hit just right. It’s easy to relax and linger and make yourself at home. It’s just a warm, friendly place with a good, solid menu.

Loved this place! Great atmosphere and our waiter was always attentive. We ordered the Chicken Parmigiana and the Chicken Orgenato and enjoyed both.

Chicago Italian at its finest. If you’re lucky enough to get a booth you almost feel taken back in time. If you sit at the bar you will be regaled of stories new and old from their wide range of clientele. The pasta is almost sacrilegious in the way it feels like a bite of Heaven. The meatballs are something I would give a limb for. Top tier business right here.

Club Lucky is a hidden gem. The moment you walk in the door you feel at home. The atmosphere is comfortable and exciting. It's a mix between an old school dinner in the front and a regular restaurant in the back. The walk up bar is decorated with beautiful bottles and lighting. You can eat and/or drink at the walk up bar. The drinks are amazing and the food is unforgettable. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Eating family style is your best bet with large groups. Highly recommend the Veal Parmesan. They cook everything to perfection and the staff are amazing. Really nice and super friendly with everyone. The place is a must go if you are in Chicago. Highly recommended!

My camera didn't get the best picture, however the Chicken Parm, thumbs up! The ambience and vibe of Club Lucky is a place you must see. My love for a restaurant is when they know people in the neighborhood & are well known. The family type restaurant. They say the best things happen at the dinner table & this restaurant is it. Staff is amazing. If you're in Bucktown, I'd highly suggest this place. Ps, the bread - you cannot resist!

A throwback, but for all the right reasons, not nostalgia. The portions are “normal” and the menu is not for degustation only, though there’s plenty available to try and share. Expect a non-pasta entree to come with main course, starch side and veggie side. Expect the meat to be cooked how you ordered it. Somewhere along the way the Midwestern palate moved towards the shoe sole of meat doneness requiring ordering raw when you want rare, rare when you want medium rare, medium rare when you want medium (if your choice isn’t listed, consider vegetarianism — JK … kind of). Not here! Lamb chops came as requested, rare. The seafood was well prepped, not at all over-cooked, and not over-spiced allowing for its delicate flavor to persevere. Sides were great, and as case in point, mashed potatoes were not over coated or filled with cheese or Applebees levels of additives (ok there was butter/cream therein to boot but you’re eating out, give yourself a break). Oh and the Bread. Deserves capitalization because it was plentiful, free and fresh, crusty-country type. People that leave it on the table: don’t. Just refuse it. No one had pasta so I can’t speak to that, but while the prices aren’t very low, they are below average, and considering the ingredients and quality of preparation, very fair. If you want to eat WELL, Club Lucky’s got you.

Had some duds but I'd definitely come back. Salad was a little clunky and the tomatoes weren't super ripe. Had shrimp scampi and tortellini. Totally scratched the American Italian pasta itch. Skip the limoncello and chocolate cake.

What a cool vibe. Love the old school, yet refreshed feel! It’s very crowded, tables are close together, but it’s a cool vibe. Service was okay, food was great!!!! Loved the 8 finger cavatelli, Club Lucky salad, chicken Marsala and desserts!!!

Perfection. Old school fee. No frills but classic exceptional eats. Large pasta selection. Slightly higher price point… average entree is about $25, but very large portions. Staff was very friendly. The calamari came with cocktail not marinara, which was great - simple but best thing ever.

My family and I cherish every meal had here. Craving good Italian food? Look no further than a Chicago staple.

I've gone to Club Lucky a few times but never ate anything because I am the Bus Driver for the Pizza Tour and the Drinks Tour as well. But this time I brought my mom along and both had something to eat while we were there. Food was great, plus the dessert was great as well.

Good food. Good service. Went to this restaurant to eat dinner 1 week ago on a Thursday night, but place was too noisy (loud enough not to be able to have a conversation) so we left. Went back this Sunday with a 5:45 pm reservation and place was quieter, but as got busier got louder although not as busy/loud as that Thursday night.

I love this place and have been coming for the last 9 years. Last night was lovely as always but sadly no bread to take home. Bot sure if that's new but it certainly was an unwelcome change since that bread is so tasty. Everything here is delicious.

Wow! What a fun place. We were visiting form Santa Fe, NM and had a wonderful meal and service at this fun place. The holiday decorations were over the top. Great pasta, great charcuterie and lovely staff.

Come for the drinks- stay for the pasta! Club Lucky is one of my favorite places in Bucktown. We sat outside and the outdoor space is lovely. The waitress was great- she helped with recommendations and helpful tips. I am definitely going back again sometime soon. Loved the espresso martini!
