I have been twice at this place. The food quality is really good, is homemade, good service and good atmosphere. Not the cheapest place but it worth it for a special occasion. They have a good variety of wines and pasta as well.

I haven't been here in awhile - since before the remodel - even though it is my neighborhood. I do miss, however, the smaller establishment with the covered alleyway. It had a certain ambiance about it. The new remodel still offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The service was amazing - prompt and friendly. ( Kendall was fabulous- if you go there, ask for her.) I got the pumpkin ravioli in a brown butter sauce - Amazing! It is one of my favorite recipes.

Tucked away in the northwestern corner of the city, this gem of a place does wonderful with great service. Showed up without a reservation on a Friday evening and they went out of their way to accommodate. It is a perfect place for a large group and/or special occasions. Highly recommended.

This place was amazing! Our waitress was outstanding! Her name escapes me but she was from the Ukraine. We were visiting from Ohio and just wanted some good Italian food. Go hungry because the portions are large. The oyster Rockefeller were the best I had ever experienced. The salads were fresh and the entrees were as well. I had the grouper and ate every drop. My husband had lasagna and our friends had the seafood canneeoli. We were more than pleased.

A phenomenal dining experience from the warm bread with cheese & oil all the way to dessert. The BEST chicken marsala I've ever had & there was enough to take some home for lunch (tastes just as good reheated). The zucchini blossoms were well prepared & extremely tasty, I would order that sauce with some bread & call it heaven - I wanted to link the plate but knew I'd embarrass the person I was with. Ended the evening with pistachio cake - a slice of heaven on a plate!!!!

Outstanding food, and a wonderful staff. We went on a busy Saturday night. Had a drink at the bar, then the head chef came out to take care of us personally since we were waiting for a while. We did not mind hanging out at the bar, or waiting for our table, however he still wanted my make sure we had a great experience. The food was some of the best Italian we’ve had in Chicago. Definitely recommend trying!

This is probably now one of my favorite places. The pumpkin ravioli was delicious. Drinks are good and the staff was fabulous. Only down side is there’s no parking lot so parking may be difficult to find during busy peak times.

Wanted some home made pasta and paid a visit to D'Arte! Came in for lunch and it was very quiet with nobody in, so we had extra peace. Service was proffessional and helpful, server who could be manager or even owner was great guy, helped us thru menu and made us comfortable. I was debating between ravioli with lobster or rigatoni vodka, but went with vodka. Dishes looked fancy and portions were huge. Vodka had great tomato garlic sauce and it had a great kick because of prosciutto! The special pasta we ordered was with prosciutto, goat cheese, pepper, spinach and dry fig! What a crazy combination, something I never tried before, bit sweet, but such an great experience! Can't wait to go back and try out some other home made pasta!
