I gave it a 4 because the experience was super fun. The food...mediocre. actually didnt eat much Totally lacking flavor. I had to get hot sauce for it and use salt n pepper.. drinks are good. Lots of fun selections. I would go back k only for drinks and maybe the appetizers. We had the pretzels and beer cheese sauce. They were good. But the overall experience is cool. But u have to participate. They give u like scavenger hunt to find fun interactive things around the restaurant. Ladies be sure to go in the restroom and touch the man picture on the wall...lol . But the best part is leaving out the special secret door. Super cool.

Absolutely great place!!! Have been to the Safe House in Milwaukee many times and this one is amazing!!! We had so much fun and the kids totally loved it. The food was great, the drinks were great, the servers were great, all of it! Of course, our missions were totally secret, so not giving anything away, go find out for yourself!

So cool and fun with the family. Plenty to do while you wait for your food there to keep entertained. My boys had a blast here. We had Agent P and she made it the experience great for us. Give yourself time here as it’s just a trove of cool and fun things. Food was great and drinks were delicious

I had so much fun at this place and felt like a kid in a good way. Trying to get into the restaurant was "interesting " but so cool. Basically everyone in the restaurant watches you, through cameras, make a fool of yourself, which makes for a great ice breaker. The food was good. I was happy with the burger, salad, and chicken tenders. It's not fancy, but perfect for this kid friendly establishment. Service was casual and friendly. Highlight was the scavenger hunt for me. Because it was less about the scavenger and more about feeling ok to roam around the restaurant to take pictures while others are eating. Check out the bathroom! Also loved the attention to detail. If you are a true spy fan like my husband you'll see tons of relics from movies like Bond, Bourne, Austin Powers, as well as real espionage history. (Go to NYC Spyscape if you love this kind of stuff) Now the finally getting out of the restaurant rounds out the experience perfectly. You just have to go here to see.

Awesome place! Best way to "gain access" to a bar/restaurant yet haha. The atmosphere was really cool. The kids and parents enjoyed exploring during our "mission." They even have a magician! It would be 5 stars if the price was a little better. Unfortunately being forced into a package that costs $30 (per adults) for an appetizer, cheeseburger, and fries plus $20 (per child) for a smaller cheeseburger, fries, and a novelty cup wasn't expected. Although the food was great, it was a cheeseburger vs. a nice steak... overall it was a great experience. Military veterans get 25% off which helped with the bill. Much appreciated. I would recommend checking it out if you've never been. It was an experience all the way through!

Went here for a private event and it was really fun! We did not know the password, so we had to perform a well known dance in order to gain entry, evidently, we did pretty well judging from all the compliments we received. This was the first time we visited SafeHouse and the combination of great drinks, great food, and great music made it a spectacular evening! My favorite drink was the Spy's Demise and favorite food was the Black Ops Sliders. Everything from the moment you entered to when you exited was an exercise in spy culture. I recommend that you take your time and explore every inch of the location. Discover all of the secret options in this place. There are even spies in the bathroom! I found this to be a fun place to visit with friends for a special occasion, dinner or just for drinks. My only criticism is that when we first entered, the music was way too loud, it was impossible to hear or speak to anyone.

Very cool concept. Fun different friendly staff. Interactive. They have cool ‘spy’ things for you to search for or you can just enjoy dinner and drinks. Don’t want to give away the cool features but it does have a photo booth. Great for family night date night or group of friends. Also they have veggie options.

What an AWESOME restaurant! Everyone in our party loved it!! Food was good and atmosphere/“games” made this place unlike any other! We all had a ball. Would LOVE to come back! The service was great and our waiter really played along which made it even more fun. I highly recommend this to parties with kids, people looking for something new and adventurous, or as a place to eat dinner and pregame before going out for the night

Go when kids aren’t allowed to come. The laser maze was cool but you don’t realize that laser are there until an alarm sounds off. Food was delicious and the team was awesome with the exception of not being able to hear and understand our server (mostly due to the kids pressing annoying buttons lol). Explore everything! Appreciate the tiny details that they put into this experience.

I went to SafeHouse with a friend for happy hour drinks. It was a wonderful experience from the moment we entered. The bar had a lot of memorabilia, items and spy themed Easter eggs from the Morse code on the menu to self destruct panel. The bar had people of all ages and groups enjoying themselves from little children to elderly patrons. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and never broke from character.

This place is super fun! We went here for my 21st birthday dinner and Agent Candy (Liz I believe) was such an awesome and fun waitress. Both her and the bartender gave me a shot of Malort to celebrate me turning 21. The food was amazing and the little table activities that you could do there were fun for everyone. I highly recommend that you check this place out if you’re in Chicago!

We took our son here for his birthday and he had a blast, he was a little embarrassed at entry, but once he shared his covert skills, he really enjoyed. The Photo Booth was a blast as well. It would be nice if the team members were more engaged with the experience, but it was still fun. Food was decent, if I were rating strictly on food it would be 3*.

Oh my goodness. I Truly enjoyed myself when I was there. I was there with the women, and They injoy themselves as well. We got one of though mission impossible, the Bang and Burn drink. It was a shareable cocktail and it was so good. Then I had to Prime Rib Timed drop sandwich that truly impressed me. I must talk about the License to kill Macaroni and Cheese . It is truly to die for! The 3 of us ate from that plate with enough to take home. It had bacon, broccoli and so much more. We WILL be back!

While the food here is great in it's own right, the real reason you should come to The Safehouse is for the secret agent/spy motif. Every nook and cranny of the restaurant is steeped in 60s through 80s cold war era spy memorabilia. There are even riddles to solve and all sorts of secrets.

Not knowing the password has it's consequences... Nice gem to experience and visit again. Seeing others dress in spy theam was awesome. Saturday nights they have go go dancers and and a floor that lights up. Food and drinks were delicious.

When visiting SafeHouse, it's all about the experience. Waiters and waitresses refer to you as "agent" and you'll need a password to enter (or you'll be subjected to a test). Their food is decent bar food and the decor is incredibly thoughtful to create a true spy, secret mission feel. Great place to take friends!
