Had an amazing time today!! Our server jack was so attentive and friendly, we felt so at home and loved the atmosphere. The pizza was the best we’ve had in a long time and drinks were awesome. Come by and see jack, he was fantastic! Sammy the busser was exceptional. Came to check on us 3 separate times and refilled our water honestly we had no expectations and this place blew us away. Keep up the great work guys.

Placed an order for a pizza with vegan cheese on Doordash, & they actually CALLED me to give me a heads up that their original crust had butter & offered to substitute their gluten-free, vegan crust instead. Such a small gesture but it totally made my night! Thanks, Homeslice!

Love their pizza, and their goat cheese breadsticks. Definitely recommend the mercenary if you don't mind a little zest to your pizza.

Great place to watch a game. Outstanding service & food! our server went above and beyond to make our experience absolutely amazing despite it being a packed house. Next time we consider a game at State or Homeslice, we will definitely be heading back to Homeslice! Better food better care...

We always enjoy coming down from the NW Suburbs to eat at Homeslice when visiting our son at DePaul. Greatvoizza, soup, salads, and beer. Our server, Rock was outstanding. Only wish they were in the suburbs!

Fun spot! All decorated up for winter/Christmas. Service was pretty good, pretty quick even on a crowded Friday, and the price was reasonable for Chicago joint. Would highly recommend the kale salad, it was actually super tasty! BBQ chicken pizza also a winner. Thin crust style if that's what you're into!

I loved everything about this place. It’s low lit with a fun LED sign, the music is a solid vibe, the food was freaking incredible (the jalapeños are actually spicy), the service is phenomenal (shout out to the bartender Matthew for being so attentive and funny), the drinks hit in just the right amount of intensity. 1000% would recommend to literally everyone. Thanks for showing this Texan a great experience!

Fantastic Family-Friendly Experience at Home Slice! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Home Slice is an absolute gem in our neighborhood! The pizza is top-notch with incredible taste and quality. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left us craving for more. The potato skins were a delightful surprise – not too heavy, perfectly crispy, and bursting with deliciousness. They struck the ideal balance between indulgence and not overwhelming the palate. The service was exceptional. Our server was not only friendly but also incredibly accommodating, ensuring we had a seamless dining experience. One of the standout features of Home Slice is its family-friendly atmosphere. It felt like a wholesome place to bring the kiddos. The ambiance was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for families to enjoy a meal together. Overall, Home Slice exceeded our expectations in every way. We'll definitely be returning for more of their mouthwatering pizza and family-friendly hospitality. Highly recommended! 🍕🥔👨‍👩‍👧‍👦

Family neighborhood favorite. Coming here for 5 years. Our family loves the Lincoln Park Trixie salad with ranch on the side. Boiler room has always been our favorite until we tried the tavern style boiler room and we now prefer that style of their pizza.

We came here because one of our party has a gluten allergy. So glad we did. Location is in a vibrant neighborhood right by DePaul with tons of indoor and outdoor seating when weather permits. We were seated quickly and the waitress was very attentive our entire meal which lasted longer than normal since we were watching college football and baseball playoffs. We were visiting Chicago but because they have so many tvs the staff was more than happy to put on the games we wanted. Apps were excellent. The potato skins were outstanding with the base being red potatoes with pulled pork, Bacon, and cheese. We also ordered a ceaser salad which can be its own meal but we shared it. All of our pizzas came out piping hot and were delicious. We all ordered the small pizzas and it was plenty for each of us. The craft beer selection is excellent as well as the cocktail menus. If your looking for a great pizza joint in Northern Chicago do yourself a favor and visit Homeslice!

Nice neighbourhood pizza place. Pizzas were great - really tasty. Vibe also great - would be an awesome place to come watch the game. Open later that other pizza places in the area, which was great (and how I ended up here - everything else was closed!). Would come back 😋

Our service was over the top exceptional. The pizza was unique and tasty. The drinks needed some help. I would return just for the atmosphere. It's worth a visit just to sit on the patio. Also maybe a bit odd but I enjoyed the sounds of the L passing overhead.

First time here. Wanted to have some pizza after soccer, and I’m so glad we stopped here. The pizza was yum, tasted so fresh. The interior of this place looked amazing with the wooden finish. We did a take out and then sat outside since they have some great outdoor seating as well. Definitely coming back.

pretty good pizza and atmosphere. we eat at Hello Jasmine down the street all the time and were looking for pizza today. pretty tasty, doesn’t knock our favourite pizza joints off the list, but it hit the spot. adding the hot honey to any pizza is always a win. service was a tad slow given the restaurant was fairly empty (had to go up to bar to ask for a few things a number of times), but nothing too wild. waitress and host were both very nice. would go back.

We always get vegan cheese pizza from them, and they make it really good. This time however, we also got vegan cheese pizza with veggies, and it came a little messy, with no crust in the middle. Other vegan/regular cheese pizzas in the order were still good. Update: Homeslice apologized and gave us a gift card, thank you.

ordered the zephy pizza to split among 3 as a large, and it was HUGE—probably could’ve gotten the medium, just a heads up about sizing! it was only okay and a bit bland, nothing to write home about or get for takeout in the future. honestly kinda disappointing! friends said their other restaurant, paradise park, was better. we also tried the goat stix + the essential chips & guac. the salsa was sooo good and we loved the marinara + goat cheese dipping sauce for the stix. will definitely be trying that at home! service and ambience were both great, we were well taken care of and the server treated us each to cookie dough bites at the end which was so sweet 💓

Chose this place due to its gluten free and dairy free pizza. I read rave reviews about the gluten free crust. I ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza with vegan cheese. For me it was just okay. Either the cheese or the sauce had a pretty strong garlic flavor which I didn’t particularly enjoy. The pizza was very filling, though, which was nice. My brother ordered one of their specialty pizzas and he really enjoyed it and my partner ordered a burger (does not come with fries) and said it was a burger, nothing special. Overall it was nice to find a place with options for both me and my non gluten free companions.

We went there for pizza - the thin crusts tavern pizza is out of this world really - just 10/10 - drinks were great It was lunch so it was not so crowded and the service was great and the everything overall was pleasant Highly recommended!

Local Chicago pizza joint serving salads and more. Loud atmosphere w sports on giant tv screens everywhere. Music is loud in the back lounge. If you want to have a quiet dining experience you won't find it here. Lots of large group dining seating available. Pizza is pretty good w cornmeal crust. Not paper thin crust but not deep dish. We went on a Saturday around 230pm and it was pretty busy. I would go back 👍

Update: After a year I came back! Such an improvement! This time pizzas were delicious! Wings also! Vine- perfect! Service- great! Soooo, stars are going up! 😁 5/5 Last year this was my review: Very, very nice place! The ambiance is so pleasant and cozy! I really liked it! Unfortunately, can’t say the same for the pizzas we ordered nor for wings. They looked good, but the taste is average. Nothing that would leave me without breath. All in all - you should visit and have a great time with friends. But if you are truly hungry, don’t experiment 😬

Always love some Homeslice whether dining in with friends or my kids or whether we're doing take out with neighbors. This last trip was especially fun as we had a large group in the back tent. Appetizers were delicious, service was excellent, and the ambiance made for such a fun night.

Homeslice has to be one of the coolest spots in Lincoln Park. Due to the great atmosphere, welcoming servers (shoutout to our server Gigi!), and incredible food I always recommend this place. The only downside to this place is the location being right next to the train… but you eventually get used to the noise. Overall, a solid place for drinks and pizza.
