I've been looking for a place in Chicago to live up to what I'm used to getting Atlanta, and I haven't been able to find it until now. The seasoning sauce is a little thicker than what I've had before, but it's still really good and actually sticks better, I found. The prices are really good and a combo comes with their amazing cornbread and a drink.
MY FIRST EVER SEAFOOD BOIL AND DEFINITELY NOT MY LAST ! 🦀 enjoyed every second of it, a little bit ok the pricey side but definitely worth it. Will come back 🔥
Went with my buddy for some seafood boil. Overall good experience with good food. Everyone was very helpful. It is self service so just be prepared to order at counter, get own silverware and drinks. Food was good but wished it packed a little more garlic punch. Even the garlic noodles were a bit bland. The fried calamari is fried perfectly.
First time eating this type of seafood. We had a great time trying something new.
Great selection of boiled seafood that has become very popular in recent years. I liked that it had a bar area but service from the bar was incredibly slow and gin and tonic was exceptionally bad. Any establishment charging more than $10 for the drink should pay more attention making it.
All of the food items including side dishes like pasta and cornbread were very tasty. Crabs were quite meaty and nicely cooked. Beignets were also excellent as a dessert item.
The food was AMAZING!!! the staff was friendly professional explained the menu for me lol..JUST AMAZING!!! I got the Hot flavor and it was HOT at first then it mellowed out but still AMAZING I will be coming back again and again and again lol aww yea and the corn bread FYE!!!! 🔥🔥
Great food! We got a snow crab special and the weekday special (everything totaling $50) for an exceptionally worth-it meal. Everything was delicious - cornbread and all! Despite pigging out, the smell of the crab really bothered me for the next day, but it could just be a me thing. Also i went during the happy hour, but apparently I had to eat at the bar for the deal so I wish someone communicated that earlier
After trying Lowcountry for the first time, I came back within two weeks! This place is that good. You can’t beat the Weekday special and the sauce is just perfection. Don’t sleep on the sides (corn, potatoes, cornbread) and the snow crab cluster is truly life-changing. It’s not hard to see why this place is known as the best seafood boil in chicago.
Had the Double Double and cornbread for 6 of us. Delicious and ordered regular hot. Was perfect for all of us! I especially loved the ability to wash my hands after eating.
I've never had food like this before so take my thoughts with a grain of salt. Everything I've had here is amazing. It's spicy savory and garlic packed in all the right ways.
Shrimp is usually something I avoid, but when I go to low country I become a shrimp addict. It's that good. 10 out of 10 would recommend. Make sure you grab some gloves by the silverware, you'll need them.
I loved every part of the experience! From when we first got there the whole inside is very beautiful and fits the mood. They reserved 14 seats for our group celebrating a birthday. I loved the food and the lobster combo was fantastic. Will definitely be coming back
Loved our waiter and the food was amazing! Craving it again already
Such a wonderful experience at Lowcountry every visit! Do keep in mind there is a weekday offer which is 35$ and the same option on the weekend is around 65$. Wish we knew this earlier 😅
Our order was the Double Double with everything sauce, very spicy! Loved every last bite of it 😍
Me and some friends came here after a game and the food here is spot on! We love that they took us in even when they were about to close, now I recommend to get to low country before 8pm because they don't take dine in''s after 9:30. My and my wife got the fried calamari it was delicious ask for an extra sauce. The double double is what we had with a medium spice level it had 2 crab clusters and 1 lbs of shrimp, potatoes and corn in a bag, 2 cans of soads and a jalapeño corn bread that is to die for! You might want an extra order of that as well, the bread was so moist and creamy melts in your mouth! Low country is the place to be tip your servers because they do the job right! It was about 91.00 bucks with out tip very good deal!
Spice level on the food was excellent. I wish the corn pieces were bigger and fresher, as that is one of my favorite parts of any boil. Other than that great spot, staff is friendly space and ambiance is on point as well. Had a fun time
